As soon as Jak left her room, Linda transformed to her human form again.
The room was naturally facilitated with available products for women including dresses, but they were a bit bigger than her natural size.
She chose her outfit carefully this time, her fingers brushing over the fabrics until she found one that felt right—soft, light, and refreshing against her skin.
The dress was big, no doubt, but it was the best fitting amongst all.
As she slipped into it, the cool touch of the material grounded her, easing the tension coiled within her body.
There was no one to help her.
Linda moved toward the mirror and picked up something that looked like a comb.
Slowly, with patient fingers, she began to arrange her hair, weaving it into a simple braid and allowing two delicate strands to fall freely at the front.
When she finished, she paused.
Her reflection stared back at her. For a long moment, she said nothing.
Then, softly, she said, "My hair… is beautiful."
