Kabe crooked his finger at them in a blatantly provocative gesture.
Seeing that arrogant posture, and remembering Sorano's order, the Gemini twins did not say a word. They clasped hands at once and activated their innate ability.
"Transform!"
A puff of blue smoke rose up, and when it dispersed, a "Kabe" identical in appearance to the original was standing in front of the three of them, frowning slightly.
Seeing this, Sorano's eyes lit up and she hurriedly asked,
"Gemini, tell me where Yukino is!"
"..."
The Gemini version of Kabe scratched his head in confusion, then turned to Sorano and reported,
"No good. In his head, aside from lust and food, there is absolutely no useful information.
Also, I get the feeling there's something really weird about this body."
"What? Even your ability doesn't work properly on him?"
Sorano had not expected that answer at all.
Gemini could perfectly copy the abilities and thoughts of any mage whose magic power was less than or equal to theirs.
If he could be copied, that meant his magic power was not higher than Gemini's.
So why would there be such an odd result?
"Shut it, you little brats. What do you mean my head is full of lust and food?
On what basis are you slandering my pure heart?"
On the other side, Kabe's face had gone dark green.
He had been quite confident that Gemini would not be able to copy him.
Who would have thought that not only did they succeed, they even exposed his two biggest vices on the spot.
He could not hold it in any longer and swung a punch.
Even though Gemini was puzzled, they still reacted instinctively, crossing their arms in front of their chest to block.
Bang!
The solid thud of flesh meeting flesh rang out.
Kabe stared at the fake standing firmly in place, not having moved half a step and having taken his punch head on without a scratch. He could not help looking surprised.
'The hell… did this guy really perfectly copy my strength?
No way, am I as a mighty Saiyan this easy to imitate?'
Sorano noticed it too, and joy bloomed across her face.
"Hahaha, that is what you get for underestimating your opponent. So the so called God of Destruction is nothing special after all.
Gemini, go. Let him taste the power of his own moves!"
"Okay, I am going!"
Gemini shook off their doubts and charged at Kabe with all their strength.
Swoosh.
Watching from a distance, Lucy could not even see the fake Kabe's movement clearly.
Her vision simply blurred, and the next instant the two figures had already clashed, exchanging fierce blows.
Their fists and feet collided at high speed, offense and defense flowing into one another so fast that they left afterimages in the air.
Boom!
When they exchanged a straight punch, the air visibly warped into a shockwave.
It shook Lucy and Sorano so hard they had to stumble back several steps in fright.
In the few seconds that followed, clashes exploded again and again, each impact making the ground tremble faintly.
...
On the second floor of the manor, Jude looked at the dazzling exchange in the garden, then felt the growing tremor under his feet.
He pressed one hand against the glass, eyes wide as he stared in disbelief.
...
Down on the field, after several minutes of pure, straightforward trading blows, Kabe finally realized something was off.
"Hey, brat, is this really all you have? That is not how I fight at all."
As he spoke, one of the two Kabes suddenly flared his aura. White ki ignited around his body like flame.
His speed and strength spiked, and he began pressing the other "Kabe" into a one sided beatdown.
In an instant, Gemini took more than ten heavy hits and was completely stunned.
What was this white aura? They had not copied anything like this.
With a final kick, Kabe sent the dazed Gemini flying, smashing them hundreds of meters away into the ground and blowing out a deep crater.
He finally laughed.
"I knew something felt wrong.
Thinking about it carefully, your ki has not changed at all from start to finish.
Looks like you only copied my physical strength. You never got hold of my most important ability."
"Gemini! H how is that possible?!"
Sorano stared in shock at Gemini, who had been kicked so far and buried in a pit.
In past battles, even if Gemini could not defeat the original, they had never been knocked down so easily.
Their strength was supposed to be exactly the same as their target.
Propping themselves up, Gemini slowly climbed out of the crater, mind blank.
They had noticed from the beginning that this man's body had no magic power at all.
But his physical ability alone was terrifying, so terrifying that they had assumed he was simply a pure hand to hand specialist who trained only his body.
Now, it seemed that was not the case.
"Heh. Not bad. As expected of me. Even after getting beaten like that, you are still fine."
Kabe grinned at them.
"Just as well. I have never dared use my own body to experiment before.
Since you are a copy of me... try taking this."
As he spoke, Kabe brought his hands together at his waist.
A condensed blue sphere of light flickered into existence between his palms.
Gemini had no idea what he was doing, but every instinct they had screamed danger.
"Kamehameha!"
Bzzzzzt!!
