Chapter 310 - Chapter 309

"Ah, this…"

The host was completely stunned by Irene's explanation.

He had seen many powerful types of magic and many skilled mages before, but sensory magic of this level was something he had never even heard of.

"Isn't that… a bit exaggerated?"

"I'm not exaggerating. The truth is probably even more absurd than what I described."

"…No, as expected of a Saint Ten mage, this is beyond normal understanding."

After struggling for a while, the host could only squeeze out that one sentence.

He quickly wiped away his cold sweat and refocused entirely on the battle footage, his curiosity fully locked onto Kabe's next moves.

When Irene's words reached the royal palace, the expressions of the foreign delegates grew increasingly stiff.

"Your Majesty… is his sensory range really that vast?"

"Indeed. However, please rest assured, I will personally restrain him and ensure he does not use such abilities for wrongdoing."

The young prince who had asked the question forced a smile in response.

What a joke. Anyone who heard that someone could accurately locate them across half a continent would not feel safe.

He was currently a legitimate guild member, so there was no issue of assassination requests.

But what if one day he left Fairy Tail, or if a war broke out and he appeared on the battlefield as a noble?

Then he, a spectator who might already have been "marked," could be tracked and killed at any moment by a Saint Ten level mage.

If possible, he would never want to experience that kind of constant life-threatening uncertainty.

The other representatives from various countries shared the same thought. Watching Kabe on the screen, they all felt a chill run down their spines.

"Hm? The aura of those palace envoys just became unstable."

"It even feels like… fear?"

Kabe, acting as a human radar in midair, suddenly glanced toward the palace and muttered to himself.

Unbeknownst to him, his expression and voice were being captured by a magic recording device and broadcast back to the palace.

"Ah!! H-he… he really noticed me!"

The young prince looked at the screen where Kabe had turned his gaze directly toward him.

He shuddered violently, lost control of himself, and fell from his seat onto the floor in panic.

The others were not as embarrassing, but their hearts were still racing, and they no longer doubted Irene's words at all.

"Damn it… I never should have come to this mess!"

The same thought appeared in all of their minds as they internally cursed the king who had sent them to Fiore.

Fortunately, in the footage, Kabe only glanced toward the palace before shifting his attention back to the match.

With his "cheat-level radar" guiding them, Ultear and the others smoothly arrived near the hiding point of the Quatro Cerberus main team.

However, the Quatro Cerberus had also detected them, especially Kabe, who was openly flying in the sky guiding his teammates.

Upon hearing the alarm, Pakkas looked up. The moment he saw them, his expression instantly turned grim.

"Damn it… we actually ran into Kabe's team first."

Just hearing Kabe's name caused the other five members of Quatro Cerberus to hesitate in fear.

"C-Captain… let's retreat. That's Kabe."

"I've been hearing his name since I was a kid from my guild master," one of them added.

The rest immediately nodded in agreement.

They were all from the younger generation of Quatro Cerberus, roughly Kabe's age group.

For them, Kabe was the "other people's child" type of existence, a nightmare figure constantly used by their guild master as comparison.

He had long since become a psychological shadow they had no confidence in facing.

"Idiots. Calm down and look properly. He's flying in the sky. Do you think we can just retreat like that?"

Pakkas raised his voice, scolding his shaken teammates while analyzing the situation calmly.

"And don't forget, this match is not only about strength. Luck is also a factor."

"Don't you want to beat him at least once? In a real official match?"

"This might be the only chance in your entire lives."

He placed a heavy temptation in front of them.

The idea of personally defeating a Saint Ten mage and breaking their childhood nightmare caused the legs of the other members to freeze in place.

"But… what if he's the king or a duke?"

"Even if we manage to eliminate their king, we'll still take heavy losses. How are we supposed to fight other teams after that?"

"That's why I said you're idiots."

Pakkas snorted coldly and pointed at Kabe, who was still hovering in midair, tilting his head as he watched their discussion.

"That guy… from what I know, he doesn't waste time on useless talk. He acts immediately once he decides something."
