Chapter 111 - Education

Before Red Juggernaut could even react, the greatly empowered Blonsky drove a knee up into him, launching him into the air, then followed with a right hook that smashed into Red Juggernaut's face.

With the indestructible trait, Red Juggernaut did not bleed even after taking a punch of over a hundred tons. Still, he was sent flying.

"You really are tough as hell."

Blonsky looked at the bone spurs on his fist, shattered by the recoil, then looked at Red Juggernaut climbing back up without a scratch. He spat to the side.

This was why he hated these mutants the boss "made" in the first place. Their abilities just did not play by any rules.

Blonsky's fist healed quickly. Even without the Extremis virus, his own recovery ability was still strong.

Red Juggernaut did not admit defeat. He could tell this big guy could not truly injure him anyway.

Blonsky felt the even greater power surging inside him. Now that his strength had caught up to Red Juggernaut, subduing him became far easier.

So next, Blonsky gave Red Juggernaut a lesson. He took him down with a ground technique, then snapped his arm.

"Your body might be hard, but your joints aren't."

Blonsky rose with a cold smile, while Red Juggernaut clutched his broken arm and howled.

"Blonsky, set it back for him. He doesn't have self healing."

Zod listened to Red Juggernaut wail for a while before realizing the man did not have regenerative abilities.

Blonsky froze too. Indestructible like this, yet no self healing?

That meant it was a weakness.

But since hurting this guy in the first place was not easy, that weakness could only be exploited by someone stronger than him.

Of course, to Zod, "indestructible" did not exist at all. His attacks could penetrate down into the level between atoms and energy. In a realm that fine, so called indestructibility was nothing but a sieve.

After that, following the comic version of Juggernaut, Zod made Cain a full set as well.

"What is this?"

Cain Marko stared at his outfit, speechless, his head topped with a bright red metal "pot."

The red tank top was one thing, but what was with this red iron cauldron flipped over his head like a helmet?

"This helmet can protect you from being harassed by telepaths. Your ability may be strong, but in front of a telepath, you're as easy to deal with as a baby," Zod said.

When Zod helped Red Juggernaut awaken his mutant ability, he had also planted a thoughtwave in him, so now he could control Red Juggernaut at will.

"Telepathy?" Cain Marko asked, confused.

"Like this."

Zod activated the thoughtwave in his mind, and Cain Marko collapsed to the ground, then began punching himself wildly.

Terror flooded Cain Marko's heart. What was this feeling of not being able to control himself?

He struggled desperately, but nothing changed. It was like his body had gone silent, taken over by something else.

Only after Zod released control did Cain Marko regain his body.

He stood up drenched in cold sweat. Before this, Cain Marko had thought he was the strongest in Jormungandr aside from Blonsky, and that Zod was merely the organization's leader. But after this, Cain Marko understood the unbridgeable gap between himself and Zod.

If Zod wanted to toy with him to death, it would be effortless.

Cain Marko never wanted to experience that helpless feeling again.

And for Zod, gaining another powerful subordinate left him very satisfied.

"Blonsky, I'll leave him to you. Train him, keep him in line."

Zod left immediately. Blonsky nodded, then led Cain Marko out.

Zod returned to the company, and Uld came to his office.

"Zod, one of the orphans you sponsor, Pietro, has already been complained about by teachers more than a hundred times. And lately he hasn't been going to school at all."

Uld spoke directly.

Normally, this kind of thing did not need to be brought to Zod. She could handle it herself. After all, she had already poached Pepper Potts, and Black Widow had completed her urgent mission and returned to work as well.

With two top tier problem solvers, Uld's workload was lighter, and there was no need to let such small matters distract Zod.

But now it was different.

Since the two of them had already slept together, Uld felt it was time to step in.

"Pietro? He still hasn't had enough fun?"

Zod nodded. To be honest, he did not value Quicksilver that much. His super speed was still inferior to the Flash. Zod could deal with him with a single thought. The one Zod truly needed to care about was Wanda.

Chaos magic was too powerful. As long as Zod found the Mind Stone and awakened Wanda's ability, she could instantly become a T0 existence under his command.

So even though Zod had long known Pietro's situation through the Black Queen, he had been letting it slide.

But now it looked like it had reached the point where it could not be ignored.

"Zod, why are you sponsoring those kids?" Uld did not understand.

And it even looked like Zod was taking responsibility, planning to "educate" Pietro?

In fact, Uld also could not help suspecting that Zod was playing some kind of long term grooming game. After all, Jessica Campbell, Wanda, and the newly joined Emma were all young beauties. When they grew up, they probably would not be any worse than her.

But Zod Heath had never shown any bad habits. He was not like Tony Stark, drifting from one young model to another. With Zod Heath's looks and wealth, he would not even need to lift a finger, the models would bring themselves to his door. Uld had answered countless calls from them already.

At first, she did not understand her boss's temperament, so she transferred a few calls. After that, Zod told her to reject them directly in the future.

Then, when it seemed phone calls were being blocked, some of those models even started waiting outside the company like hunters lying in ambush.

Naturally, they never caught him. Zod did not even like going out.

"I'm investing in them because they're worth investing in. You don't need to know the details yet," Zod said.

"Alright." Uld left the office.

Don't need to know the details yet?

"Blonsky. Take some men, grab that kid Pietro, lock him in a black room, and beat him eight times a day. Just don't kill him. Feed him only one meal a day."

Zod felt that when it came to education, he was an expert. Look at Tony Stark. After Zod educated him, Tony no longer went out partying all the time. Now he stayed obediently in his lab working on Iron Man suits.

"Remember, don't let him discover who you are."

After saying that, Zod cut off the thoughtwave connection.

"Pietro?" Blonsky repeated to himself, thinking it over. What had this kid done? From the looks of it, he had pissed the boss off.
