The debris from the structures above poured down like sand in an hourglass, pulled by gravity toward this single point in a mad rush. In the blink of an eye, a terrifying volume of crushed stone and rubble reshaped the entire battlefield.
Riding that momentum, Psykos gradually took down several S-Class heroes using the same method.
After all, most of them hadn't reached a level where they could fight one-against-many.
Though in truth, every single one of them had been rescued by Zodhis.
Then Zodhis knocked Tony Stark on the head, snapping him back to his senses.
"Damn it, could you be a little gentler?"
Tony Stark clutched his head and couldn't help but complain.
"You had it coming. When you face a monster, you strike first. You don't just stand there and let them attack."
Zodhis looked over the people sprawled across the ground and spoke.
At that moment, Psykos and her group found their way over. Seeing the ground littered with superheroes, they instantly understood what had happened!
"Damn it... In the human world, a Dragon-level threat is ranked on par with tornadoes and tsunamis. Don't you dare underestimate us."
Invisible psychic power worked silently, and the surrounding environment began to warp.
After a brief moment of consideration, Evil Natural Water transformed its 'body' all over. Thick blood-red veins bulged across its single giant eye, and violet-black psychokinetic force swept out from its mind, actually attempting to use psychic powers to forcibly restrain the supersonic-moving Zodhis.
In a battle that was rapidly exceeding all expectations, Black Sperm, who had originally been slated as the vanguard, could no longer find a way to intervene. Not that the guy, face drenched in cold sweat right now, would have had the guts to charge in anyway.
"Ha—!"
Equally terrified (frightened) deep down, Homeless Emperor also exploded with power. His eyes opened to their absolute limit, his pupils abruptly dilating. His spirit was like a fine string drawn to its breaking point under high-tension strain, and the veins on both his hands stood out starkly. With a wave, over a dozen light spheres accelerated to speeds invisible to the naked eye. He looked like a bizarre monster in humanoid form, like a dozen giant white radishes made of light, or like capsules in a suit, clutching red-and-blue pills the size of water bottles in both hands...
If one counted carefully, they outnumbered the S-Class heroes currently present by quite a margin.
After summoning this many powerful monsters, Psykos seemed to finally shake off the shadow from earlier. A note of self-satisfaction crept into her tone. To deal with these S-Class heroes, she had painstakingly searched for how many monsters...?
Zodhis felt the pressure mounting. What should he do? Should he use this opportunity to let the Dark Knight Armor make a graceful retirement?
Or should he wait until later, when Boros invades, or Vegeta and Nappa invade, and then retire the Dark Knight Armor?
"Thirteen trillion cells merging together... Once cellular fusion begins, they can never be separated again..."
Black Sperm's body swelled and twisted grotesquely. At the same time, hundreds of pale faces, each with a different expression, surfaced across his noodle-like contorted form. One could clearly sense his power level skyrocketing.
"The birth of a new life is accompanied by many sacrifices, and for that reason, it is sacred and beautiful. Right now, my heart is filled with deep sorrow..."
"If you're so sorrowful, then don't transform. Let me ask you one more thing: did you purchase Boss-Battle Mid-Transformation Death Insurance...?"
Even as he spoke, Zodhis had somehow already arrived right in front of Black Sperm at this critical moment. He didn't seem the slightest bit concerned about the danger of being focused-fired by every monster on the field.
