Mu Ning looked at him. "What do you mean?"
Liam sighed again. "It's my father."
Mu Ning paused before chuckling. "If I didn't know any better, I would've thought he was your secret lover who got jealous because you're staying with me."
Liam's face instantly darkened.
Mu Ning laughed. "No offense. Anyway, I'll deal with that bastard too."
She stretched lazily. "So, will these police officers continue to haunt me if I don't cooperate?"
Liam shook his head. "I've already dealt with them. However… public opinion…"
He stopped midway, but it was enough for Mu Ning to understand. She chuckled.
"Don't worry about it. I've been hated for a long time already."
Mu Ning didn't think much of it.
However, when she arrived at the racing venue and was greeted by flying synthetic vegetables, tomatoes, eggs, and foul-smelling green liquid, her face darkened.
Turning toward the crowd, she shouted angrily,
"You all really can't think of anything better? Throwing these cheap things at me?"
