Liam chuckled.
"You said it yourself, the word 'maybe.' That means even you aren't sure whether you'd give up the entire world for me."
C.M. paused. She was about to speak when Liam interrupted her.
"You… you're not the real Mu Ning, right?"
Hearing those words, C.M. was taken aback.
She stared at him cautiously.
"So what? Do you want to exorcise me? Do you want to kick me out? Or do you want me to call the real Mu Ning back?"
Her expression became guarded. Liam chuckled. "Why would I? From my perspective, both of you are the same."
He looked at her gently. "You're a part of her."
Liam had long since heard the system's report that Mu Ning's corruption value had dropped when Warren said that C.M. was a part of Mu Ning.
Maybe the reason why C.M. and Mu Ning were so hostile toward each other was because C.M. never considered herself a part of Mu Ning.
As long as he could bridge this gap, perhaps C.M. would change as well. Thinking this, he looked at her with a gentle gaze.
