It was almost as if an adult was hiding inside a child's body. Meanwhile, Sun Yu had already noticed Gwen's presence and quickly walked over.
She grinned. "Gwen, you're here too?"
Then she turned toward Warren and Rui Fan. "You two are here as well?"
Warren frowned and merely gave a faint nod. Rui Fan simply looked away.
It was only then that Sun Yu seemed to notice Mu Ning. She immediately grinned. "Auntie, you must be Gwen's mother?"
Mu Ning smiled. "Yes. Who are you?"
Sun Yu smiled brightly. "I'm Gwen's classmate. I'm also her best friend."
Mu Ning nodded. "It's nice to meet you. Are you here to play?"
Sun Yu immediately nodded. However, a trace of sadness appeared in her eyes as she lowered her gaze.
"I am. But..."
She paused before forcing a smile. "My parents aren't here to accompany me, so I was planning to find someone else to play with."
Mu Ning smiled. "Would you like me to accompany you?"
