Taking a deep breath, she gently held his face.
"Can you tell me how often you used to meet your parents during your childhood?"
Liam thought for a while before answering.
"Once a year."
Mu Ning's expression changed slightly.
"My parents were too busy. They didn't have time to spend with us. They would only meet us during the New Year. They would assess our situations and grade us. As long as we passed the grading, we would have a good year ahead."
