Warren's eyes widened. He looked at his mother as if she had just betrayed him.
'Mother, how can you sell us out?'
Mu Ning's smile became even brighter. 'You're my son. Why can't you take the blame for me?'
The mother and son stared at each other.
Neither was willing to back down.
Gwen quietly raised her hand.
"I understand that both of you might have different opinions, but can you please set them aside for now?"
She looked at them seriously.
"If we're going to rescue Sun Yu, we need to hurry. She might already be in a much more desperate situation than we think."
Her words immediately silenced both of them.
Mu Ning and Warren exchanged a glance before finally backing down.
"Fine."
"Fine."
The two spoke almost simultaneously.
Soon, the three of them boarded the spaceship.
