"Don't rush this part. The better you knead the dough, the softer your steamed buns will be."
After kneading it for several minutes, she covered the bowl. "Now we let it rest and rise. It should roughly double in size."
While waiting for the dough, Mu Ning began preparing the fillings.
"For the vegetable buns, I'm using cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, and green onions."
She finely chopped everything before adding a little salt to the cabbage.
