Chapter 70 - Causing Misunderstanding

Raghav, who was surprised by Meera's anger, said to himself, "What has happened to Meera? Why is she so angry?"

Having said this, he looked at Meera, who was walking while muttering to herself and was not paying any attention to the ground. There was a small stone near Meera's foot, and if Meera's foot accidentally fell on it, she could slip. He moved towards Meera to stop her, but then Meera placed her foot on that stone and lost her balance. She lost her balance and was about to fall, but Raghav quickly ran towards her and caught Meera in his arms. Mira, who felt like she was about to collapse, instinctively moved her hands to her stomach. In her fear, she felt the baby growing in her womb for the first time.

Then Raghav said to her, "Don't be afraid, everything is fine! Nothing has happened to our child?"

Hearing the voice, Meera looked towards Raghav, who was holding her tightly. Raghav's presence was easing her fear. But then she remembered Raghav hugging Natasha. She turned away from him.

Surprised by Meera's strange behaviour, Raghav asked her, "What happened to you? Why are you behaving so strangely?"

Hearing Raghav's question, Meera could not control her anger and said, "Am I behaving strangely, or are you? You should look at yourself first. Then you can question me!"

Saying this, she got ready to leave from there, but then Raghav caught hold of her, lifted her in his arms and went straight towards his room. Meera, who had not expected Raghav to pick her up like that, suddenly cried out, "What are you doing? Put me down?"

Saying this, she started struggling to get down from Raghav's lap. Seeing Meera struggling like this, Raghav warned her and said, "If you keep moving like this, you might fall. What could happen if you fall? You know that very well."

Hearing Raghav's words, Meera realised he was referring to the child growing in her womb. The thought calmed her down. Seeing Meera calm down, a smile appeared on Raghav's face, and he took her straight to his room. As soon as he entered the room, he carefully took Meera down from his lap and asked her, "Why are you behaving so strangely?"

Hearing Raghav's question, Meera stared at him. She kept remembering Raghav hugging Natasha. She said angrily, "Am I behaving strangely,y or are you? You've created such an image for everyone that everyone thinks you love your fiancée immensely, and yet, in private, you hug your fiancée's sister. Your fiancée was truly crazy to fall in love with someone like you and sacrifice her life to save you."

Hearing Meera talk about hugging Natasha, Ragharealiseded that Meera had misunderstood him. He was about to give her an explanation, but after hearing the name of Myra from Meera's mouth, Raghav took back his explanation. He thought to himself, "I don't need to explain anything to this girl!"

He said to Meera, "You don't need to worry about what I do or don't do. You just need to focus on ensuring that the baby growing in your womb is born safely."

After listening to Raghav, Meera realised that she was asking the wrong person, who cared not about her but about the child growing in her womb. He even brought her to the palace so that she could make amends. Realising this, Meera said, "Your fiancée was truly crazy to risk her own life to save yours. He knew that telling the truth could cost him his life. Yet he chose to tell the truth and take his own life. But instead of finding out the truth behind his death, you are supporting his murderers?"

Raghav didn't understand what Meera was saying. He didn't know what truth she was talking about. He asked, "What truth are you talking about? What truth did Myra know?"

Hearing Raghav's question, Meera was about to tell him something when Natasha came there and said, "Meera, are you misunderstanding the relationship between me and Raghav? It is not what you are thinking! Raghav brought me here to help me! If you're so bothered by my presence, I'll just leave."

Having said this, she began to cry in a fake way, so that Raghav's attention would shift from Meera to her.

Natasha quickly went to her room and entered her other form so that no one would suspect her. Then he heard two maids talking that Raghav was carrying Meera in his lap and going towards his room. Hearing this, she quickly ran to stop Raghav and Meera, but upon arriving, she heard that the girl was about to tell Raghav the whole truth. So, she intervened and stopped Meera from speaking. She said to herself, "I have to kill this girl as quickly as possible. But before I do, I have to stop these two from meeting each other. Otherwise, this girl might tell Raghav everything about us."

Hearing Natasha's words, Raghav's attention shifted to her, and he said, "You don't need to go anywhere. Anyone who has a problem with you can get themselves treated."

Hearing Raghav's words, Meera, who was about to tell him the truth, decided not to. She said to him, "Prime Minister, you will always remain blind in your intellect."

Saying this, she went away from there. Seeing Meera leaving, Natasha pretended to be upset and said to Raghav, "Raghav, you should stop Meera. She's misunderstanding us. You should correct her misunderstanding."

Hearing Natasha's words, Raghav looked angrily at Meera as she left and said, "You don't need to worry about her. She'll understand everything herself after a while. You should go to your room and rest."

Then he asked Natasha, "You were resting in your room for a long time, then how did you suddenly come to my room?"

Hearing Raghav's question, Natasha worried that he might accidentally suspect her. So she quickly made up an excuse, saying, "Well, I was tired from sleeping so long. That's why I came out to get some fresh air. That's when I saw Mira arguing with you. I wondered if Mira was arguing with you because of me. After all, she's your wife and the mother of your unborn child? So I thought I'd clear up Mira's misunderstanding!"

Hearing Natasha's words, Raghav nodded and said, "Okay. You can leave now. If you don't find anything else to do, you can wander around the palace! Very soon, I will introduce you to the person whom I am going to choose as your future husband."

Hearing Raghav's words, Natasha silently nodded and walked out of his room. But as she left, she thought to herself, "Raghav, you are the right person to be my future husband. Very soon, I will remove this wife of yours from the way and become your wife. I will also take the position of Queen of the Feather Clan and hold two positions simultaneously."

Thinking this, a smile came on his face. Raghav was standing alone in his room. He said to himself, "With which girl has Myra trapped me? If it wasn't for her wishes, I wouldn't have married this girl, let alone any girl! Furthermore, I made a mistake while drunk, forcing her to be brought to the palace!"

He was muttering to himself when he remembered what Meera was saying.

He said to himself, "What truth was this girl talking about? The one that cost Myra her life."

Thinking this, he said to himself, "This girl must be lying. Why would Myra tell the truth to an outsider, leaving her parents and siblings behind? He must have been the one who had fooled Myra. Poor innocent Myra had no idea what the outside world was like! Just let this girl give birth to my child. Then I'll send her away from here!"

Thinking this, he got busy doing his work. Meanwhile, Mira, also in a rage, retreated to a quiet area of the palace. The more she told the Prime Minister the truth, the more he disbelieved her. She said to herself angrily, "Telling the truth to the Prime Minister is really useless. No matter how much truth I tell him, he never believes me. Or he just doesn't want to believe me!"

Thinking about this, she couldn't stop crying. She hadn't felt any peace ever since she saw Raghav hugging Natasha. She said she wanted to move away from the Prime Minister, but fate brought her closer to him. First, marriage, and now, this child growing in her womb. As soon as the child came to mind, Meera's hand automatically went to her stomach. She said to herself, "If the Prime Minister doesn't trust me now, how can I expect him to trust this child too? He should behave with this child in the same way as he behaves with me now."

Mira had no real family. All she had was an old woman she'd found abandoned. She didn't know who she was or who her parents were!
