Aren looked at her, not a single attack had actually made contact. He found that shocking and fascinating.
'I'm certain it's her ability, but then, how do I get through?' Aren wondered, but then he didn't allow the thoughts to linger for long. He smiled and then spoke, "If normal attacks don't work, I'll use attacks that will surely work." He said.
June looked at him, confused. What could he possibly be talking about, was he trying to get into her head?
Aren took one step forward, and from his feet instantly rose shadow tendrils. They moved around like they were caught in some sort of dance.
He slowly lifted his hand and pointed a finger at them, and instantly, all the tendrils fired forward at her. She looked at the attacks unbothered, she expected something better.
But as the tendrils slammed into her invisible wall, Aren bolted forward, moving like a bullet, the tendrils had all been a distraction at best, and he was the real attack.
