The Demon shot forward fast, gritting his teeth and pulling both hands back for the attack. He wanted to end her now in one slash.
Lucy got ready as well. She rolled her spear and then charged ahead at full speed. She pulled her arm back and went in for a thrust.
BANG!
BANG!
They collided, and each time the air was ripped apart, the ground cracked, and everything trembled.
From outside, it looked like no one was winning. There was a stalemate, but to Lucy and the Demon, she was dominating, and it was only a matter of time before that showed.
She saw an opening and very quickly went for it, slashing with her spear. It ripped through the demon's gut, blood gushed out like a fountain, and the demon staggered backwards while blood poured out.
"Urghh, just get out of the way already!" he roared in anger. His demonic energy erupted like a geyser as he charged ahead, ignoring the massive wound that he had on his body.
