"Huh!! What is this?!" the flight cleaning crew exclaimed in horror.
"Hey!! Question everyone!" a member of the flight management shouted. "Attention all passengers! Anyone who arrived on Flight 340 from Japan to Taiwan, please report to the management office immediately."
As the announcement echoed, Zyla finally deactivated her spell. The passengers, now free from the mental fog, moved toward the office. Eventually, Eeron stepped inside.
"So... do you know about those bodies?" the officials asked, their voices trembling with fear.
"Yeah," Eeron replied coldly. "Because those guys were hunting us. Ever heard of the Japanese criminal trio, 'Neon Color'? They're the ones behind this. Call your Head."
"He's in the other room. You may go," the official stuttered.
Eeron entered the office. "Who are you?" the Head demanded. Without a word, Eeron dialed a number and handed him the phone. It was Mr. Hirigakure.
"Hello? Yes, Sir... Understood, Sir. Absolutely." The Head's posture changed instantly. He handed the phone back. "You are free to go, Agent 75."
"Okay," Eeron took the phone. "Just how far does your influence reach, Mr. Hirigakure?"
"High enough," Hirigakure replied over the call. "Let's just say I've struggled a lot to reach this level. Now, put Zyla on. I'm heading out to get a taxi."
Eeron handed the phone to Zyla. "Hello, Dad!!"
"Hello, sweetie. Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, Dad. But Dad, about my Divinity Power—"
Click. Hirigakure hung up before she could finish.
Back at his office, Hirigakure sighed. "What did that girl reveal? I told her... but no, they just have to— forget it."
"Hey Zyla, I got a taxi. Let's move!" Eeron called out. They both hopped into the car.
Meanwhile, a shadowed figure watched from afar. "Sir, they have reached Taiwan."
"Good," replied a man named Dysector. He was the one obsessed with Zyla.
Inside the taxi, Eeron looked at Zyla. "Can you tell me where all of this actually started?"
"Let's get to the hotel room first," she replied.
Once settled in the room, Zyla began her story.
"It started about a year ago, during New Year's. I was 15. We had gone to a temple. My Dad called us over, saying, 'Everyone, come here, they've arrived.' A wealthy family had joined us. Dad told them, 'Why are you standing? Consider this your own temple.' Six of us were in one room..."
"Staring at each other's faces?" Eeron interrupted with a smirk.
"Hey!! Shut up!" Zyla growled.
"So, what happened next?" Eeron asked.
"Then my Dad brought up the business," Zyla continued. "'You know how much profit our alliance could bring, Mr. Leviston,' he said. Mr. Leviston replied, 'That's true, but does your daughter even like our son?' Then my Dad looked at me. 'Go on, Betu. Go talk to your fiancé, Dysector.'"
"I was in shock. Dysector approached me. 'Hello! I am Dysector, the sole heir of the Leviston family. You can call me Dys.' We were alone in a room while our families talked. His gentle behavior impressed me. But I had a 'disease'—one I created myself: 'Love Interest.' I fell for his trap."
"We became friends, then entered a serious relationship, and finally got engaged. One day, at the mall, Dys asked me, 'Zyla, are you serious about our relationship?'
'Of course! Don't you believe me?' I replied.
'No,' Dys said bluntly."
"I didn't say a word. I pulled him into the elevator. As soon as the doors closed, I grabbed his tie and pulled him into a lip-lock kiss. By the time we reached the ground floor, both of our faces were beet red. A taxi arrived. We were heading home when it started raining. 'Just my luck,' I muttered. 'Listen Dys, why don't you stay at our place tonight?'
'Huh? But—'
'No buts! We're here anyway.'
'H... okay,' he agreed."
"When we got home, I told my parents, 'Mom, Dad, Dys is staying with us tonight.'
'Oh, Dys beta! Which way did the sun rise today?' my Mom joked.
'Uh, Auntie... it's just...' Dys stammered.
'Mom, stop it! You say anything to anyone,' I groaned.
'Shut up, you little witch!' Mom snapped playfully. We all ate dinner together, laughing and joking."
"Back then, Dad's business was new, and we lived in a small 2BHK. Mom said, 'Honey, you sleep in the hall tonight. Zyla, you sleep with me, and Dys, you can take Zyla's room.'
'NO!!' I screamed.
'Why?' Mom asked. We argued for a long time, but eventually, I ended up in my room... with Dys. 'Listen Dys, let's have a Chill Night,' I suggested.
'What do we do in that?' he asked.
'Games, movies, just hanging out all night.'
'Okay,' he said. We started watching 'IT: Welcome to Derry.' At one point, I got so scared that I screamed and hugged him tight.
'Hey, it's just a movie,' he whispered.
'Turn it off! Who even suggested this?' I cried.
'You did...' he smiled. I turned off the TV. His body felt so warm... I was completely wrapped up in him, and then..."
"And then what?" Eeron leaned in.
"And then... nothing!" Zyla snapped.
"Huh? Seriously? I thought by now there would be some little tiny—"
"I SAID NOTHING HAPPENED! I'll throw my shoe at you!!" Zyla screamed.
"Anyway... a few days later, I was coming home from school. I heard voices from behind a wall. A girl was saying, 'So, what's the next move? Is that girl trapped in your web yet?'
I looked... and it was Dys. I went into total shock. That was the day I broke everything off with him. I cried for days... I even tried to take my own life once, but I couldn't do it."
"And that," a voice boomed, "is why you left me all alone."
The hotel room wall exploded inward. Dysector stood there, his 'Bear Instinct' radiating a primal, terrifying aura as he stared at Eeron and Zyla.
