I suddenly got an inspiration while thinking like that, before I had no interest in the books that guy from the Evil Tigers had shown me, but now, now I have his full collection, I might actually find what I'm looking for in that collection, wasting no time, I began to withdraw any item that was a book size inside the pouch .
One after the other books began to appear in front of me, Wheels Of Death, Introduction to alchemy, pill recipes, forbidden elixir, Forbidden Alchemy Methods, Forbidden Methods To Nurture Plants and lastly Tiger Force together with the other Two Books that I was familiar with, finally a log book, that happened to be withdrawn a long the books .
There seemed to be still some other books inside the pouch, but there was no need for me to get them out currently, I first need to claim that green feather, then I should get out of here, before even more stronger people come in .
As for the contents inside the other books, I currently held little to no interest in them, I will look for an opportunity later to read them, but now I should focus more on achieving success in Tiger's Force .

Shifting my attention back to the book in hand, I couldn't help but suck a breath of cold air at how thick the booklet in front of me was, it would be no exaggeration to say that the booklet in front of me was actually bigger than the other two books combined and at least combined 2 or 3 times over as well .

I was bubbling with excitement, so even after the flurry of attacks had came to a sudden halt, I was still engrossed in my own reading, I was unable to understand what was happening around me .
While I was engrossed in my own thoughts, the two people who were recuperating beside me had woken up looking quite refreshed, the guy was surprised at the scene in front of him, he was able to recognize the people in front of him as his own people, but when they got here, that was what had caught him by surprise .
He also did wake up barely from his trance, when Ji Xi threw herself at him and the two of them reunited again and started to report what had happened to one another, the conversation they had was a brief one, one that left the two with a mix of emotions, but the only common thing was them looking at the same person in the end .
They were looking at the person who helped them recover from injuries, who were they both mistrustful of, who helped them in avenging some hatred, it wasn't an exaggeration to say that they were looking at their benefactor .
But just as they were like this, a sudden cry filled with hatred came from the other side of where they were, that cry came from the despicable enemy of the two siblings, Song Che was saying :

Whatever was the reason, those guys who seemed to be wary of the tricks that a Spiritualist might have in his sleeves still ducked on the ground, then the bag that he throw continue to head towards the actual target he had in mind all along, the place where that weird Feather laid in at the bottom of the cave .
All the people present didn't understand what he was trying to do at first, but they all got a bad premonition in their hearts, a few of them who were able to think straight about what was happening, began to scream at the people who were still at loss of what was happening while fleeing from the place and finding somewhere to take cover .
But time had run out, a huge explosion suddenly sounded at the bottom of the cave, enough to shake the whole cave and make a big pieces of the ceiling above our head to fall apart, then as if starting some chain of reactions, a few more explosions soon followed and this time the explosion didn't stop for a long time .
While these explosion didn't directly cause deaths, it indirectly did reduce the numbers of the people present by two thirds, their were more than 30 people inside this part of the cave, but now only 12 people remaining .
The explosives that this guy throw, made the flurry of energy blades more random and more destructive too, before you could be able to evade early on, taking advantage of the ability to discern the trajectory of the attack and the fact that the blades hadn't been locked on you yet .
Now, the flurry of attacks was much stronger, dangerous, random than before, people who tried to escape by moving widely, they would find themselves dissected by other blades, people who was taking cover behind some of the walls still intact, would find the blades bounce off the wall and lock on him .
In less than a minute, the people who stayed alive were no more than 12, the whole other people were massacred before they even try to get close to that cursed item, this wasn't the only problem, the entrance we came in from was now completely sealed by the rubble, the only benefit from what was happening was the fact that the webs of energy blades protecting that green feather were now less threatening than before .
The bad news was that the next wave of attacks would most likely kill all the people present, the whole place was cleared from any pebble that can be used to hide beneath it or behind it, the next wave of attacks would clean this place of anyone alive, if nothing were to change the course of this situation .
There were a few guys who suggested to dig holes before, but they had perished in the last wave of attacks, the people who were still alive, were Ji Nan, Ba Zhi, Wei Li, the 7 subordinates of Chu Ji Xi and Chu Jian and the guy who was still engrossed in reading as if his world was dependent on it without caring about anything else happening .
One of the two siblings subordinate had perished due to being stupid enough to listen to the temptation of Ba Zhi, promising him gold and plenty of recourses, but the condition was to let him move a little and give a little more space for Ba Zhi .
This unfolded after the hurdle that they were taking cover behind was destroyed by not one but many energy blades, the guards thinking of the riches he will be given agreed to do this, not even thinking slightly about the fact that the small rock that was acting as a hurdle before was much smaller than the one that had already been destroyed .
The moment he stepped out, he was directly targeted by one of the blades that bounced off the wall and it split him in two, dying the area and those who were around it with red, as the the huge wave of attacks seemed to have finally subsided, even the rock that was behind us was now reduced to waste .
All this happened while there was a guy who still gave the world around him no mind, the whole cave was silent, other than the muffled groans of pain and sadness coming from people who were taking their last breath, the only other sound was the sound of turning pages .
In such a place that was now dyed in red and green and looked like a purgatory on earth, there was actually the sound of turning pages in such a situation, which instantly caught everyone's eyes and attention .
Ba Zhi :
What is that guy doing, isn't he aware of the crisis we are in, or does he not care about his lifer and death .
Wei Li :
I always suspected that guy to be suspicious, could it be possible that he is trying to fool us all along, maybe he might even be one of that cursed guy's accomplice .
