Killing these people wouldn't solve the root problem; instead, it would alert Black Zetsu. More importantly, to release Kaguya from her seal, a suitable sacrifice was required. Aside from Madara Uchiha, was there any better candidate?

It was a stroke of luck that they were merely cannon fodder used by Black Zetsu; had they actually succeeded, they would likely have become tyrants or dark gods, using nothing but slaughter and terror to force others to submit to their will.
"Rin... Rin was killed by Madara and Zetsu?! No! That's not right! Who the hell are you? How do you know so much?" Obito's face twisted into a hideous, feral mask.
"Who I am isn't important. What matters is the choice you make next. Oh, I almost forgot, there's a piece of trash here who has no value in staying alive."
With those words, Allen casually flicked a Truth-Seeking Ball. It struck the completely defenseless Hidan.

The man who claimed to possess an undying body vanished into nothingness, failing to even let out a scream.
