Ophelia didn't believe avoiding dances was the only reason Kaden was leaving, but she didn't question him. If Kaden wanted to return to enjoy himself, then he would. Ophelia wouldn't stop him, but she would stop Dante from escorting him out.
Before she could be crowded again, Ophelia walked over to where Mary stood.
"Lady Hastings," Mary curtsied.
"Mary, we are close enough for you to say my name. They are both dressed up so handsomely," Ophelia said, stooping down to greet the two boys. "Finn, and Landon. I hope you two will share a dance with both your mother and me tonight."
"Oh my. They are both very shy tonight," Ophelia said, watching as both boys hid behind Mary. She stood up, but continued to look at both boys.
"The crowd is scaring them, but I assure you that once they get comfortable, they will be running around in no time. They are curious and have been staring at the knights," said Mary.
