The day of the coronation arrived, and the grand hall was filled with dignitaries from both the werewolf and vampire kingdoms. Flowers adorned the aisles, and the air was thick with anticipation.
Han and Taejoon stood before the elder, flanked by their friends – the alpha boys (Ace, Adriel, Caleb, Harrison, Lorenzo, and Hudson) and the idols (Kai, Adriel, and Jace). Both Han and Taejoon wore crisp white trousers and shirts, looking every bit the part of royalty.
Jace quipped, "Looks like a wedding day, not a coronation."
Hudson chuckled, "More like it."
The elder began to speak, his voice booming through the hall. "Because Taejoon and Han possess the supreme power to rule both kingdoms, a feat unseen in generations, they must choose which kingdom they wish to rule."
Taejoon turned to Han, a questioning look in his eyes. "Han?"
Han took a moment, his eyes locked onto Taejoon's. "The werewolves."
Taejoon chuckled, a low, husky sound. "Well, I'll rule the vampires, then."
The elder nodded, a hint of a smile on his face. "Very well. Let it be announced to the crowd: Taejoon, King of the Vampires, and Han, King of the Werewolves!"
The crowd erupted in cheers as the elder raised the crowns, preparing to bless the new kings. 😊
The elder's hands hovered above Taejoon's head, the crown poised to be placed. But Han's sudden movement stopped him, leaving everyone in stunned silence. Taejoon's eyes locked onto Han's, confusion etched on his face.
"What's wrong?" Taejoon asked, his voice laced with concern.
Han's sigh was barely audible, but the tension was palpable. "Taejoon, you shouldn't be crowned yet."
Taejoon's shock was evident, his eyes widening in disbelief. "Why?" he asked, his voice tinged with hurt.
Han hesitated, his eyes darting to the crowd before returning to Taejoon's. "There's a reason, Taejoon."
Taejoon's curiosity got the better of him, and he took a step closer to Han. "What reason?"
Before Han could respond, Taejoon's eyes clenched shut, and he let out a blood-curdling scream, clutching his head. The sound sent shivers down everyone's spine.
Han and their friends rushed to Taejoon's side, but it was too late. Taejoon's eyes snapped open, black as coal, and a dark aura surrounded him. The air seemed to thicken, heavy with malevolence.
Taejoon flipped Han away, sending him flying into the air before crashing into an empty chair. Adriel rushed to Han's side, helping him up.
Taejoon's voice, now laced with an eerie echo, sneered, "Han... you think you can stop me?"
Han struggled to his feet, his eyes blazing with determination. "Watch me do it."
One of the elders gasped, "Han, why are you and Taejoon fighting?"
Han's laughter sent chills down spines, his eyes gleaming with a fierce intensity. "This person standing here is not Taejoon... he's Mako."
The room fell silent, the only sound the heavy breathing of the crowd. Han's words hung in the air like a challenge.
"Mako's soul is in Taejoon's body," Han declared, his voice steady.
The crowd's shock turned to worry, and they positioned themselves to fight. Taejoon, or rather Mako, laughed again, the sound sending shivers down spines.
"You all are so stupid... none of you can stop me now. I'll destroy you all." ?
The battle raged on, the werewolves and vampires lunging at Taejoon with fury in their eyes. But with a mere wave of his hand, they were sent crashing to the ground, struggling to stand. Mako, in Taejoon's body, sneered at their failed attempts.
The elder, still clutching the crown, stood frozen in terror as Taejoon's glowing eyes turned to him. "Give it to me," the dark voice commanded.
The elder's defiance was admirable, but futile. Taejoon's hand closed around his throat, lifting him off the ground. The crowd gasped as the elder's face turned red, his eyes bulging.
Jace, Kai, Adriel, Ace, Hudson, Caleb, Harrison, and Lorenzo rushed to intervene, but Taejoon's powers froze them in place.
Han's eyes locked onto the scene, a silent apology flashing through his mind. "I'm sorry I have to fight you, Taejoon... but I can't let Mako hurt you or anyone else."
With a fierce cry, Han launched himself at Taejoon, flying through the air. He landed on Taejoon's back, his hands glowing yellow as he pressed them into Taejoon's shoulders.
Taejoon's scream was deafening as he tried to pry Han loose. But Han held tight, his grip like a vice. Mako's rage boiled over, and with a mighty heave, he sent Han flying across the room.
Han crashed to the floor, coughing up blood. The crowd gasped, horrified, as Taejoon's dark laughter echoed through the hall.
Alexander's arrival was like a storm, his presence commanding attention as he strode into the hall, his warriors by his side. The crowd parted, eyes fixed on the legendary king, long thought dead.
"King Alexander is still alive!" someone whispered, the news rippling through the crowd.
Alexander's gaze swept the room, locking onto Han's battered form. He rushed to Han's side, concern etched on his face. "Han, are you okay?"
Han nodded, wiping blood from his lips. "I'm fine, but Taejoon's... it's Mako."
Alexander's eyes hardened, his jaw clenched. He handed Han a gleaming horn, its tip sharp as a dagger. "This is the Horn of Eldritch. If you stab it into Taejoon's chest, it'll separate Mako from his body."
Han's eyes widened, hope flickering to life. "What about Taejoon? Won't he be...?"
Alexander's expression was grim. "He'll be affected, but he'll survive. Be careful not to stab his heart, Han. We can't risk losing him."
Han's grip on the horn tightened, determination burning within him. He nodded, a silent vow to save his love.
Alexander's warriors clashed with Taejoon, their movements lightning-fast. But Mako's power was immense, and they struggled to hold him.
Han took a deep breath, the horn clenched in his fist.
Alexander's powers held Taejoon in place as Han approached, the Horn of Eldritch glinging in the dim light. With a deep breath, Han plunged the horn into Taejoon's chest.
Taejoon's scream was like nothing Han had ever heard, his body convulsing as Mako's dark energy poured out of him. The crowd fell to the ground, writhing in agony, but Alexander's powers shielded Han and himself.
Mako's form emerged from Taejoon's body, weak and gasping. Taejoon collapsed to his knees, clutching his chest in pain. Han dropped the horn, rushing to his side, tears streaming down his face.
"Taejoon, I'm sorry," Han sobbed, wrapping his arms around Taejoon's trembling form.
Taejoon winced, his eyes red-rimmed, but he hugged Han back, his grip tight.
As they held each other, Mako's laughter echoed through the hall, sending chills down spines. "You think this is over? You're wrong..."
Mako began chanting in Greek, the air thickening with ancient power. The sun outside turned blood red, casting an eerie glow over the scene.
Alexander's face twisted in alarm. "Shit, he's using the power of the moon!"
The werewolves collapsed, weakened, as the vampires' eyes turned red, their fangs bared. The alphas and idols struggled to resist, but it was no use – except for Jace, human and vulnerable.
Mako sent vampires to attack Han and Taejoon, but Han fought to protect his love. Mako himself approached Taejoon, sword raised...
Han saw him coming, and his scream echoed through the hall: "Taejoon!"
As he turned, his body began to shift, fur bursting forth as he transformed into a majestic white werewolf. Alexander's eyes widened. "His powers are finally completed."
Han's roar shook the hall as he launched himself at Mako. The two clashed, their battle a blur of fur and steel. Mako kicked Han back, but he came at him again, jaws snapping.
On the floor, Taejoon reached out weakly, his voice barely audible. "Han..."
