"Leon. Not only are you a liar, but you are now also someone who has no basic courtesy?"
Upon hearing what Yuqi said, a slight frown immediately appeared on Leon's face as he thought to himself.
'Huh? What is this girl even talking about? Why is she suddenly calling me a liar out of nowhere?'
Though, Leon didn't bother getting to the depths of that question, mostly because he didn't really care, and there was currently another matter he was much more concerned about, which was to sell his various businesses over to Huang Feng.
Thus, to quickly get over this awkward situation, Leon quickly kept away the slight frown that appeared on his face for a few seconds and put on an apologetic smile on his face as he walked over to Yuqi, then apologized "sincerely".
"I'm sorry, Yuqi, I was too focused on greeting Uncle Huang that I somehow didn't realize you are here too."
"Yuqi, how have you been? It's been over a month since we last met, haven't we?"
"Come, Yuqi, let's head over to the table, should we?"
While speaking his last sentence, Leon extended his left hand in the table's direction, gesturing for Yuqi to go ahead and walk over to the table, and he would follow suit after she has began walking over to the table.
Right after Leon finished speaking, Yuqi could be seen continuing staring silently at Leon with a cold look on her face.
Though, after what seemed to have been 5 seconds of silence…
The cold look that was on Yuqi's face disappeared as she let out a snort, then said in a low voice while with a pout and a look of grievance on her face, seemingly as if Leon had did something to wrong her greatly.
"Humph! Blockhead, you are still a liar…"
After Yuqi finished speaking, Yuqi didn't continue putting Leon in a tight spot.
Without waiting for a respond for Leon, Yuqi began walking over to the table.
Upon hearing what Yuqi said, Leon couldn't help but mutter to himself in his own mind.
'Huh? Why is she calling me a blockhead again?'
'Also, what did I even lie to her about? And in any case, even if I did, does she not know that her triad and my family aren't exactly on good terms with each other?'
'So, why is she acting like I owe her?'
'I really don't understand what's going on in this girl's mind.'
'Didn't I save her life a few times despite the fact that I didn't have to? And yet, she's still continuing on making things difficult for me as if I'm her sworn enemy or something.'
Though, Leon didn't think too much about it and just merely assumed the way in which Yuqi was acting was because she was spoiled and possessed a weird temperament.
In actuality, Yuqi was completely in the right with calling Leon a blockhead and a liar.
No one aside from Yuqi herself understood just how much of a torture these past 30+ days of not being able to see Leon have been for her.
The only reason she that didn't go to Leon's university to visit Leon was because of a certain promise that Leon made to her, but evidently, Leon had already completely forgotten about the promise that he had made to her.
Thus, how could Yuqi not be upset with Leon, especially when Leon even purposely ignored her a while ago even though he had obviously saw her.
"Cough… Apologies, Nephew Leon. This granddaughter of mine has been spoiled rotten by me."
Right as Leon walked over to his side, Huang Feng let out an awkward cough, then said apologetically.
"It's fine, Uncle Huang. Come on, let's head over to the table, there is so much for the both of us to catch up on."
Leon said with a "sincere" smile on his face, then began walking over to the table with Huang Feng.
