"A common enemy?" BIG MOM glared at the white-clothed woman.
Qimo Ji nodded calmly. "We know your greatest enemy right now is Rolan."
Before Qimo Ji could elaborate, Kaido scoffed. "A joke. When did Rolan become our biggest threat?"
BIG MOM, still bristling, added, "Little girl, as pirates, our real enemy should be the World Government."
The white-clothed woman's laugh was cold and scornful. "Hmph, you two can't even take down Rolan together, yet you talk big?"
BIG MOM's face twisted with rage. This was an insult to her pride. If it hadn't been for the immense soul power she had used to recover, she would never have lost to Rolan. Now, in the pirate world, she had become a laughingstock.
Wein's voice cut through the tension. "Are we wrong? Put aside your arrogance."
Kaido, clutching his Haki-infused kanabo, staggered toward Wein. "You think you're clever?"
Wein transformed, his form shifting into a fearsome human-beast hybrid. Seeing this, Qimo Ji raised her hand to stop him. "We know you hate Rolan, and he is your number one enemy."
Her gaze, sharp and controlled, added, "Our World Government also considers Rolan a thorn in their side. His threat rivals even Dragon, leader of the Revolutionary Army."
While technically Rolan wasn't as dangerous as Dragon yet, the World Government couldn't locate the revolutionary leader. That made Rolan a uniquely unpredictable threat.
"Since we have a common enemy, why not eliminate him together?"
BIG MOM's fury boiled. She sensed Qimo Ji's contempt as if they were questioning her strength. "Leave! Don't let me see you again!"
Wein appeared before her in a blur of Soru, landing a sharp punch to her jaw. With a loud bang, the Emperor's massive form flew backward.
Kaido reacted instantly, swinging his club bristling with Busoshoku Haki toward the three intruders. Kudins, seeing this, shifted into his human-beast form and drew his sword to intercept.
Clang!
Steel met wood as black sparks of Haki crackled across the collision. Kudins pressed forward, and Kaido staggered back several steps, finally collapsing to the ground, half his drunken haze clearing. Kudins sheathed his sword. "Feeling a bit more sober? Now, can we talk?"
Kaido and BIG MOM exchanged glances, then nodded cautiously. "Alright. Tell us your plan."
Wein reverted to human form as well, his posture relaxed.
Outside Cake City.
"Perospero Nii-san, won't Mama be in danger alone in the city?" Charlotte Flampe asked anxiously.
Perospero's long tongue twirled confidently. "No need. There are two Four Emperors-level presences inside. No matter what those three do, Mama and Kaido have it covered. Perorin~"
He wasn't worried at all. Even the three white-clad intruders, powerful as they were, were slightly weaker than BIG MOM and Kaido.
Queen laughed heartily. "It's fine. As allies, Lord Kaido will protect our captain." His voice carried both confidence in Kaido and veiled disdain for BIG MOM.
"What? You stinking fatty!!" Cracker roared in rage, realizing Queen's meaning immediately.
"Want to spar a little?" Queen asked casually, exhaling a smoke ring. "Or are you still unsatisfied? Just a bunch of losers."
BIG MOM's crew rose, ready to fight, but a tall, serious man interrupted. His white hair, brown skin, black wings, and tattoos around his left eye made him imposing.
"Stop! We are allies now," he said firmly.
The Beasts Pirates members, seeing King speak, fell silent. Even Katakuri, standing nearby, nodded. "Sit down. Those three won't do anything foolish."
The two pirate crews, initially hostile toward one another, divided themselves, eyes wary, standing on opposite sides of the street.
Inside Cake City.
BIG MOM's voice held skepticism. "You're saying the World Government wants to cooperate with us to take down Rolan?"
Kudins nodded. "Exactly. If we succeed together, the credit is yours entirely."
Wein and Qimo Ji remained quiet. As subordinates to Kudins, they could afford to relax, though their eyes betrayed deep disdain.
Pirates were beneath contempt in their eyes. Strength was one thing, but against the World Government, there was an insurmountable gap. They would have preferred to face Rolan alone, rather than cooperate with so-called pests like BIG MOM and Kaido.
BIG MOM and Kaido, sensing the arrogance, showed none. They knew this cooperation was strategic. The World Government was likely using the opportunity to extend its power in the New World. If that happened, the Four Emperors would no longer hold undisputed control.
Feigning compliance, they planned to let Rolan and the agents exhaust themselves first, then reap the benefits.
"No problem. I agree," BIG MOM said, stuffing a fallen cake into her mouth, cream smearing her face.
"Since Linlin has no objections, I agree too," Kaido added, sipping sake, drunk and carefree, resembling an innocent child.
The agents' disgust deepened, but as partners, they suppressed it, moving on to discuss operational details.
Wein smacked his thigh. "Why plan? Let's just do it."
Qimo Ji swatted him to the ground. "You slap yourself, not me!"
Wein scrambled up. "Ahaha, my mistake, my mistake."
