A purple lightning bolt tore through the center of the battlefield, gradually forming into a man with long earlobes and a bare upper body.
"Nani?!" Qimo Ji exclaimed, her eyes widening in shock.
"How did you appear, Enel?" she asked, voice trembling slightly.
The man before her was none other than Enel, God of Thunder, a member of Rolan's crew. He turned lazily to face Qimo Ji, casually picking his ear with his pinky.
"Ah, ah, ah… I heard someone was planning to attack Rolan and his crew," he said, his tone almost bored.
Qimo Ji twisted her waist, gliding closer with a sultry sway. "No, I was just playing a game with Lina. She even suggested sharing Rolan with me." She turned her gaze toward Lina. "Right, Lina?"
Enel remained almost unmoved. Her voice, brimming with seductive charm, made him feel slightly nauseous.
Lina immediately transformed into flames, standing between Qimo Ji and her target. "Enel, I'll handle this slut!"
Enel merely nodded.
Perospero, seeing Enel's arrival, shouted in rage. "Don't get distracted, Enel! Gather all your strength and finish that Law for me!"
"Candy Armor!" Perospero activated his Devil Fruit power, wrapping himself in a giant candy shell, then charged toward Law.
Cracker and Snack, emboldened by Enel's presence, no longer held back. Both drew their swords and rushed at Law.
Enel casually raised his pinky to his lips and blew, transforming into pure lightning in an instant.
"Fifty Million Volts: Discharge!"
Two immense bolts of lightning shot toward Cracker and Snack. The speed was blinding. Bang! Bang! Both warriors were flung backward like meteors, smoke curling from their bodies.
Law seized the moment. Activating his ability, he swung his sword at Perospero, who, blinded by anger, had no time to react. The blade cut cleanly through him.
King's pupils constricted. Reinforcements were here. If all of Rolan's crew appeared, victory would slip further from their grasp.
Enel, a Logia-type user of the Goro Goro no Mi, possessed unmatched speed, ensuring that even if more of the crew joined, they would not arrive faster. King calculated quickly: to win, he had to thin the numbers. If Robin, the Devil Child, could be eliminated before reinforcements intervened, at least the fight would be more manageable.
"Guardian Fire Dragon Emperor!"
King's katana ignited, forming a colossal fire dragon that surged toward Robin. Heat radiated fiercely, warping the air and melting the clouds in its path.
Robin's senses screamed danger. Even a glancing hit from this attack would leave her severely injured. She leapt aside, narrowly avoiding the fire dragon, but the heat still scorched her.
A black wing, streaked with faint lightning, suddenly blotted out the sun, intercepting the attack.
"God Peng Kulo!"
King realized his sneak attack had failed. Before he could react further, Kuro, Rolan's first mate, appeared.
"Peng Wing Blade!"
His wing, crackling with black lightning and reinforced with Armament Haki, slashed toward King's neck. Panicked, King leaned back, barely avoiding the strike, and stumbled several steps.
Facing Kuro, King's arrogance dissolved. He had underestimated this man's strength. Although Kuro was the first mate of Rolan's crew, his power seemed on par with King himself.
From this, one could infer that the strength of the Ion Pirates had far surpassed the standard for even an Emperors crew.
Seeing Enel and Kuro arrive, Robin finally exhaled in relief. With their presence, she and Law could breathe easier. Now, the only remaining concern was Rolan's battlefield.
Meanwhile, Kudins' brow furrowed. Two immensely powerful figures had appeared, and their strength was likely greater than his own. He suspected they were reinforcements from Rolan's crew.
Hancock immediately recognized them as Kuro and Enel. Kudins glanced upward, incredulous.
This circular space was an electromagnetic shield developed by Vegapunk. It blocked electromagnetic Den Den Mushi transmissions and even disrupted Vivre Card sensing. Kudins had no idea how these two had penetrated it.
If the rest of Rolan's crew followed, the battle could easily tip in their favor. Even his superior strength would not guarantee a swift victory over Hancock. His meticulous plans were unraveling.
Kudins valued his life and hated unpredictable battles. Unlike Wein, he was confident but careful, always underestimating strategically but taking tactical threats seriously.
If the battlefield dragged on until Rolan's reinforcements arrived, their secret mission would fail. Kudins himself could be in mortal danger.
Hancock, noticing his hesitation, asked teasingly, "What's wrong? Something unexpected?"
Veins bulged on Kudins' forehead. He had lost his composure.
"It's just two fleas. Victory is still ours!" he shouted, teleporting in a flash with Soru to reappear before Hancock.
Just then, a colossal figure descended from the sky, smashing into the island cloud. A massive hole opened in the ground, seawater gushing through it, signaling the arrival of more reinforcements.
