"This… this is hell!"
"The island is sinking!"
"The magnetic field is completely chaotic!"
"I can't even control my own body!"
Panic spread across Marineford.
Nearly everyone was dragged into the sky by the violent turbulence. Bodies spun helplessly in the raging storm, Marines and pirates alike reduced to debris caught in a catastrophe beyond their control.
Only a handful of truly powerful figures managed to steady themselves amid the chaos.
Kizaru floated unsteadily, his usual lazy expression replaced with visible concern as he stared at the fractured sky.
"This is bad. Those two are far too reckless. Marineford cannot endure this."
Even he was shaken by what he was witnessing.
The clash between Rolan and Saint Figarland Garling had transcended conventional combat. Their strength had reached a completely different realm.
High above, blades locked once more.
Rolan felt a rare chill creep into his chest. The old man before him was monstrously strong.
Stronger than Shanks. Stronger than Kaido.
He clicked his tongue.
"The World Government really knows how to hide its monsters."
Saint Figarland Garling's expression remained cold and disdainful.
"You are nothing more than a slightly stronger insect. Defying the World Government is the greatest mistake of your life."
Yet beneath that contempt, shock stirred within him.
He had dismissed Whitebeard, once called the strongest man in the world, without hesitation.
But this young pirate, who had been at sea for barely two years, possessed power that forced him to take him seriously.
Not only the Five Elders, but even Imu had underestimated this man.
Rolan laughed lightly.
"You are not enough. If the World Government wants my head, send Imu."
As he spoke, he poured more power into his Electromagnetic Blade. Blue purple lightning intensified, crackling violently along its edge.
Veins bulged on Garling's forehead. The pressure from Rolan's blade surged like a tidal wave.
The aura radiating from Rolan began to overwhelm his own.
The next instant, Garling could no longer hold his ground.
He was blasted backward like a cannonball, vanishing into the distant sky as a shrinking speck.
"Saint Garling!"
The remaining six figures shouted in disbelief.
To them, the people of the world were ants. Disposable. Worthless.
Yet one of those ants had just swatted down a god.
Only then did Rolan fully recall where he had seen the old man before.
Figarland Garling, commander of the God's Knights.
In the original history, his presence alone had carried terrifying authority. It was no surprise that his strength stood at the level of the Four Emperors.
Even so, the fact that he had reached such heights still impressed Rolan.
Below, Whitebeard watched Rolan's back silently.
"So the era truly is changing."
His gaze shifted toward Ace, Sabo, and Luffy. Young faces filled with fire and defiance.
Once, he too had burned like that.
Time had dulled his body, but not his will.
If this was the dawn of a new age, then his role was simple. He would clear the path for the next generation.
A decision settled firmly in his heart.
On the ruined ground, Sengoku surveyed what remained of Marineford.
Half the island had already sunk beneath the sea.
The last time Marineford had suffered such devastation was during Golden Lion Shiki's invasion, when Garp and Sengoku had fought him together. Even then, the destruction had not reached this scale.
Now the island lay shattered into countless fragments. Some sections floated upward unnaturally, others were swallowed by the ocean.
Among the rubble, a broken plaque bearing the word Marine lay half buried, a final reminder of the headquarters' former glory.
Sengoku's face darkened.
"Rolan, do you intend to sink Marineford completely?"
Rolan glanced at him, his expression calm and detached.
"Wasn't this your doing?"
Before Sengoku could respond, another figure moved.
Saint Shepherd Ju Peter stomped forward, fury distorting his face.
"You wretched insect!"
As he charged, his body twisted and expanded, transforming into a massive fiery red lizard. Scales shimmered with heat, and his elongated tongue coiled within his mouth, dark and sinister.
With a snap of his jaws, the tongue shot forward like a spear toward Rolan.
Just before impact, it collided with a pink high heeled shoe.
The explosion that followed sent lightning surging outward in thick arcs.
The tongue recoiled violently, snapping back and slamming into Ju Peter's own face with a sharp crack.
The force hurled him backward through broken walls and shattered stone. He crashed into the ruins of Marineford's headquarters and was buried beneath the debris.
A graceful figure stepped forward.
"Ugly creature. How dare you speak to my husband like that."
Her voice carried regal disdain.
Boa Hancock stood tall, Conqueror's Haki rippling faintly around her like an invisible crown.
Ju Peter clawed his way out of the rubble, staring at her in disbelief.
"Boa Hancock. The World Government protected Amazon Lily for years. You dare betray us?"
Hancock extended her index finger toward him and leaned back in exaggerated contempt.
"Who do you think you are?"
Her tone dripped with arrogance worthy of an empress.
Ju Peter's face twisted with rage.
He lunged again.
"Mero Mero Mellow."
Hancock spun gracefully, forming a heart shape with her hands. Waves of heart shaped energy surged toward him.
For a split second, Ju Peter's furious expression faltered.
He reverted to human form.
Heart symbols filled his eyes.
His cheeks flushed.
He froze in place as the attack struck him.
A clear chime echoed across the battlefield.
In an instant, he turned to stone.
Even the hearts in his eyes solidified.
Hancock walked forward calmly.
With a single kick, she shattered the stone statue's head.
The crack echoed like a death knell.
The remaining five stared in horror.
They knew the power of the Love Love Fruit. If the statue was broken, the victim was beyond saving.
Saint Ju Peter was dead.
"Damn you!"
For the first time, raw fury distorted their composure.
"Today, none of you will leave this place alive!"
