"I have not decided yet," Aria admitted. "It would mean significant time away from Moonvalley. Regular travel to the Central Territories. Oversight responsibilities across the continent."
"But it would also ensure the work continues systematically," Senna pointed out. "Right now, the network functions through individual relationships and informal coordination. Formalizing it would make it sustainable long term."
"That is what Kaelan said," Aria acknowledged.
"Kaelan is wise," Senna said with a smile. "But ultimately, the decision is yours. What does your heart tell you?"
Aria thought about it. Her heart told her to help people. To heal those who suffered. To build systems that multiplied impact beyond her individual capacity.
"My heart tells me the work matters more than my comfort," she said slowly. "If chairing the working group serves the work better than refusing it, then I should accept despite the personal cost."
