Chapter 180 - Chapter 179 Cersei's Invitation

Cersei did not answer Lynn's question.

She just let out an almost inaudible cold snort.

The sound was a mix of mockery and a certain self-abandoning weariness.

"In this city, winning is everything."

She turned, moonlight streaming in through the window, outlining her graceful curves.

Even her dark casual clothes could not hide the nobility in her bones.

"Losers only have death."

Cersei walked slowly towards the desk, her fingertips tracing the surface, finally resting on the dragonglass dagger Lynn had left on the table.

The dagger was pitch black, reflecting a cold, eerie light in the moonlight.

"You like collecting these dangerous things?"

Cersei's voice was soft, like a lover's whisper, but her green eyes were filled with scrutiny.

Lynn did not speak, just watched her.

He watched this Queen of the Seven Kingdoms perform her last desperate struggle in this small study.

Cersei's gaze moved from the dagger back to Lynn's face.

She suddenly smiled.

"You want an ally, Lynn."

"I think we will be very good partners."

Before she finished speaking, Cersei reached out and untied her clothes.

Her movements were calm and elegant, without the slightest shyness.

It was as if she felt no shame in taking off her clothes.

The dark casual clothes slipped down her smooth skin, piling at her feet.

The moonlight poured over her without reservation, and that body, sung by countless poets and desired by countless men, was thus exposed to Lynn without any cover.

She was like a goddess carved from ivory and gold.

Beautiful, arrogant, yet exuding a fatal temptation.

She was using her most powerful weapon.

Using a queen's body to gamble the future of a House.

"Now, are we frank enough?"

She raised her chin, like a proud lioness, challenging Lynn with her eyes.

Lynn's face remained expressionless.

He just stood up and walked, step by step, to stand before her.

His figure was so tall that he easily enveloped both the moonlight and Cersei in his shadow.

Lynn did not speak, he just reached out and gripped Cersei's chin.

The force was not great, but it carried an undeniable meaning.

Cersei's body stiffened, a trace of humiliation and anger flashing in her proud green eyes.

But she did not resist.

She could feel the dangerous, powerful, and aggressive aura emanating from Lynn.

This was completely different from Robert's fat and smell of alcohol.

This was a power that made her tremble, yet also caused a trace of uncontrollable desire deep within her body.

"Not enough."

Lynn's voice was very soft.

The next second, the world spun.

Cersei let out a short gasp, and she was picked up by Lynn, thrown heavily onto the wide bed with thick velvet cushions.

Cersei wanted to struggle, wanted to scream, wanted to curse this man who dared to humiliate her with the most vicious words.

But all resistance was completely crushed the moment Lynn pressed down.

He declared his sovereignty in the most direct, most primitive way.

No foreplay, no gentleness.

Only pure conquest by force.

Cersei felt like a small boat swaying in a storm, ready to be smashed to pieces by the surging waves at any moment.

She bit her lip tightly, not allowing herself to make the slightest sound of weakness.

She was Cersei Lannister, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms!

She could not!

However, her body's reaction betrayed her will.

A domineering and unfamiliar sensation exploded from the deepest part of her body, instantly sweeping through her limbs and bones, breaking down the dam she had built with pride and reason.

Her mind was blank.

Hatred, humiliation, fear... all emotions were swallowed by the ever-intensifying tide.

She thought of her husband, fat as a pig, who only knew how to drink and roar.

She thought of her twin brother, who, although handsome, was far less assertive than her.

None of them could give her this feeling.

A sense of being completely dominated, even her soul trembling in submission.

She hated this feeling, yet she was hopelessly addicted to it.

It turned out that even the proudest lioness would have a day when she was completely conquered when facing a true male lion.

"Casterly Rock..."

Cersei, clutching Lynn's broad back, hummed out the true purpose of her visit tonight.

"Casterly Rock... will fully open trade with Gift..."

"Grain, ironware, cloth..."

"Everything you need, House Lannister... will be sent to your fief at the lowest price."

"We... need a strong ally."

She used her House's wealth to offer the first pledge of allegiance for this newly established twisted alliance.

She was not foolish.

She knew that this man before her had grown into a behemoth that no one could ignore.

With dragons, wildling armies, Unsullied legions... rather than becoming an enemy, it was better to become an ally to share the cake.

Lynn already had the right to sit at the table.

Lynn's movements stopped.

He looked at the woman beneath him, her hair disheveled, tears in the corners of her eyes, yet still biting her lip tightly, refusing to show any weakness, and a hint of approval flashed in his eyes.

Even at a time like this, she had not forgotten her purpose.

She was indeed Tywin Lannister's daughter.

Cersei gritted her teeth, refusing to make any shameful sounds.

In the room, only the heavy breathing of the two remained.

The insane tide receded, and cold reason once again took the high ground.

Cersei suddenly pushed Lynn away.

She flipped over and sat up on the bed, her back to him, searching for her clothes thrown on the floor as quickly as possible.

She did not want Lynn to see her expression at that moment.

Her legs were still trembling slightly.

The unfamiliar afterglow filled her with panic and shame.

Lynn did not touch her again.

He calmly watched her re-wrap that flawless body in clothes symbolizing power.

When Cersei was fully dressed again and turned around, she was once again the aloof Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

Only the slightly reddened corners of her eyes and the lingering flush on her cheeks betrayed everything that had just happened.

"You heard Casterly Rock's promise."

Cersei walked to the window, letting the cold night wind blow across her burning cheeks.

"But this is not enough."

Her voice had returned to its usual coolness, even colder.

"Ned Stark is a fool; his honor will kill him, and it will kill everyone who stands with him."

She turned around, her green eyes like two bottomless lakes in the moonlight.

"He is your protector now, but he will soon become your burden."

Cersei was sowing discord.

She wanted to completely separate Lynn from House Stark's camp and firmly tie him to the Lannister war chariot.

"Lord Stark is my benefactor," Lynn responded calmly.

He needed to show a moral struggle, to make Cersei think he could be persuaded, and thus reveal more.

"Benefactor?"

Sure enough, Cersei let out a disdainful sneer.

"In King's Landing, there are no benefactors, only stepping stones and stumbling blocks."

"You will soon understand."

Cersei took a step forward, lowering her voice, which carried a chilling ominousness.

"How long do you think Robert can still live?"

Lynn feigned confusion and raised an eyebrow: "The King is in his prime."

"Prime?"

A strange smile played on Cersei's lips.

She leaned into Lynn's ear, her warm breath mixed with her unique scent, entering Lynn's ear.

"A body soaked in fine wine and poison every day has long rotted from the inside out."

"Poison?"

Lynn's tone contained just the right amount of surprise.

Cersei straightened up, satisfied with the "shock" on Lynn's face.

This was the effect she wanted.

She wanted Lynn to understand that she held secrets capable of overturning the entire chessboard.

"Some poisons are colorless and odorless."

Cersei's eyes became complex.

There was hatred, helplessness, and a desperate resolve.

"It won't kill you immediately; it will only slowly corrode your mind, making you irritable, suspicious, foolish..."

She paused, speaking each word distinctly.

"Ultimately, he will eventually kill himself."

It was done.

Lynn understood in his heart.

Cersei had revealed her father Tywin Lannister's plan in its entirety.

This was no longer a test; it was an outright surrender.

"Once Robert dies, Joffrey will ascend the throne."

Cersei's voice was filled with a mad calmness.

"But Stannis and Renly will not give up easily."

"The Seven Kingdoms will be plunged into war."

"I need you, Lynn."

She stared intently at Lynn, the flame of power burning in her green eyes.

"Break away from Stark, join Lannister."

"I need your army, your dragons, to protect my son, to protect our shared throne!"

"What do I get?"

Lynn pondered for a moment, then asked the most crucial question.

"Besides Myrcella, besides the Lannister wealth and friendship..."

A victor's smile appeared on Cersei's face.

"You will receive a king's promise."

"A king you personally helped ascend to the throne."

"My son Joffrey only admires two people."

"One is Robert, and the other is you!"

"As long as Joffrey can ascend the throne, whatever you ask, he will agree to it."

This was almost promising Lynn the future position of "Protector of the Realm."

The conditions seemed very tempting.

Lynn looked at her and suddenly smiled.

It seemed his current bargaining chips were still not enough, causing Cersei to still underestimate him.

He had no intention of helping a Joffrey ascend the throne.

However, Lynn believed that as he continued to grow stronger, Cersei would gradually raise the stakes.
