Inside the office, Annabelle eyes were focused on the see when a knock had her lifting her graze briefly.
"Come in," she said.
The door opened, and Carla entered. "I'm here, Madam," she said, her tone polite and professional.
"Have you had your lunch?" Annabelle asked, and Carla frowned but still nodded.
"...Yes, Madam," she replied. After a pause, she asked, "Is there anything I'm needed to do?"
"I will be leaving a meeting soon," Annabelle began, lifting her head slightly to meet Carla's gaze. "I do not have an assistant or secretary here, so I would I appreciate it if you'd accompany me."
Carla blinked but only for a moment. A small smile appeared on her lips, and she nodded softly, "I will make the arrangement," she said,her smile still intact.
