My current strength, speed, endurance, and the array of combat skills I had unlocked were more than enough to beat Crocodile into the ground without breaking a sweat. With that level of power, I saw no real threat waiting for me in Alabasta. The arc felt almost routine at this point.
The one area that still nagged at me was the ship's status. It was already very good. Before reaching the New World, this vessel ranked among the finest pirate ships out there in terms of build, speed, and durability. But I knew I was squandering its true potential by leaving it unevolved for so long.
The ship had been passively upgrading itself over time, absorbing the excess Lust Energy that spilled out whenever I had sex onboard.
Those gradual improvements had mostly just increased its overall size—lengthening the hull, widening the deck, expanding the cabins, and boosting basic structural integrity.
Impressive in its own way, but it had not awakened any special abilities yet. No unique features, no supernatural enhancements. For that to happen, I needed to trigger a proper evolution.
