Chapter 92 - Arrival VI

(Ellion's POV)

The next day, I saw the Dornish Houses arrive at the courtyard. The banners of House Martell were visible from the balcony I was standing on. I noticed House Dayne's banners in the distance in the back, it was getting quite lively at the time.

I had heard that Princess Elia and Prince Oberyn were currently on a campaign, going around the Realm to find suitors. I wager that King's Landing would be their final destination as Rhaegar has considered in marrying Elia in order to make a proper political arrangement.

I don't know if this was wise for the future, but who knows.

But I am the one who suggested it, so whatever happens, it could be on me. What could be the worst that could happen?

Hm, with these people? You never could know. Targaryens are a damned pain in the ass.

"What are you up to?" I heard Malora speak up

I turned to see her walking up to me with a smile on her face, "Hm...." I said, "Malora."

She hugged my arm, "My sisters have grown quite envious of me." She said, "It seems that someone has spread the rumor of us being lovers."

"Did you, hm?" I said, "Well, Malora, you've gone and done it. You might've made an error, but who knows?"

She chuckled, running her hand down her chest, "If you won't marry me, so be it." She said, "I will have you in my bed, planting your seed in me."

I sighed, "You never learn, do you?"

That could be quite the problem, but we'll see where this takes us. All of these women gathered about. I am not sure if this would be wise. I did feel a bit of tension when Tywin arrived; there seemed to be something in his mind. I haven't seen Aerys since then, so I don't know if their conversation went sour or not.

Aerys Targaryen, Steffon Baratheon, and Tywin Lannister in the same location. Last time that happened, I pissed Tywin off in the Tourney, having the King knight me. Who knows what will happen now?

"Look." Malora said, gesturing past me

I followed her gaze and saw one of the carriage doors open, a young Dornish woman walking out. She was beautiful, with dark hair and black eyes. Her frame was petite and slim, with not much a chest compared to Malora or the Queen. But she was quite a beautiful one, with a certain charm to her, even from this distance.

There was a simple, gentle, and good aura about her. Her smile, even if slight, was as radiating as the sun itself.

I knew who she was; Princess Elia Martell.

"Elia Martell." I said

"Oh? You know her?" Malora asked

"I'm no idiot." I said, "I know who she would be. She's pretty."

"That, she is." She said, "Not as beautiful as I am, is she?"

"Debatable." I said truthfully

She pinched my arm, "Say it, you swine."

I looked at her, "Relax."

She scowled, "Hmph."

I looked back at the courtyard, seeing that a young dornish man had emerged from the carriage as well, patting his pants and looking around. He looked a bit like Elia and was younger, so I assume he was Prince Oberyn Martell.

"Interesting." I said, "Her brother is here as well."

"He is a Prince of Dorne, accompanying his sister on a campaign," she said, "Do you not find it interesting?"

"Somewhat." I said, "Now that Houses Martell and Dayne are here...."

"Let's see what happens."

*************

"Ser Ellion." I heard a voice call out for me as I walked down the hall

I stopped and turned, seeing Ashara Dayne walking up to me, wearing a dark blue dress. Her beautiful black hair was flowing down elegantly, her divine eyes staring at me with such neutral grace.

"Lady Ashara." I said as I faced her fully, bowing slightly, "I welcome you to King's Landing."

She nodded slowly as she reached me, "Can we speak?"

"Of course." I said, looking past her and seeing that there was nobody with her, "Are you alone?"

"Yes." She said

I spread my Observation Haki outwards, sensing that there was nobody in the vicinity.

"What do you need to speak about?" I asked her

"There was a rumor that started, but I immediately shut down." She started, giving me a frown, "It started right after we left Lannisport."

"Oh, yes." I said, "Prince Rhaegar brought that rumor up. I had to shut it down as well. It was a baseless one, I don't know why it was even started."

"I know why." She said

"Why is that?" I raised an eyebrow

"It is a bit well-known by this point that you are quite promiscuous." She said, "Or at least, that is what they say."

"Oh my." I said with a chuckle, "Is that what they say?"

She nodded, crossing her arms, "Yes." She said, "And being seen together in broad daylight in Lannisport must've started and fueled that rumor."

"Well, I do apologize about that." I said with a slight smile, "I did not mean for you to be insulted with such rumors, My Lady. What can I do to make it up to you?"

She sighed, "Not much." She said, tilting her head, "I am not a woman that can be easily swayed, Ser Ellion. I hope you understand that I cannot be someone's lover so easily, if you understand what I mean."

"I do." I said, "I understand."

"Malora Hightower has apparently claimed you as hers." She said, "She told me that the two of you are lovers."

"How easily she spreads the fires of discord." I said with a sigh, "It is.....complicated."

"I hope no chaos comes from what she claims." She said

"Worry not about that, My Lady." I said, "I will say one thing, though. Whatever may happen, I would do my best in keeping it discreet."

She raised an eyebrow, "What are you insinuating?"

I reached for her hand, raising it and kissing it gently, "My Lady, I believe you know what I mean." I said, "I would be honored to even be in the mind of such a beautiful woman like yourself."

She blushed slightly, "Oh...." She said, "Do not be a fool.....trying to flatter me, are you?"

She pulled away slowly, giving me a slight smile as I chuckled.

"My Lady, I merely jest." I said, "As I said, I don't intend to insult you in any way."

"Hm...." she said

"But if you wish to be curious about it..." I said, turning around, "Mayhaps we can try something."

"A private walk of sorts."
