A short period of leisure time after dinner.
Mika hovered around Ian as if she had something to say, and then, when no one else was around, she slipped closer and spoke to him.
'Um, Captain. I have something to consult with you about…. Could you spare a bit of time tonight?'
Mika looked around tentatively, speaking secretly while checking her surroundings.
'At night?'
'Yes. In your room, Captain.'
In the middle of the night, a consultation in his room of all places.
Ian felt a strange sensation for some reason and nodded.

Late at night, slightly past the usual bedtime.
Ian was waiting for Mika to arrive.
While he was in the middle of reading a book, there was a knock so small he wouldn't have noticed it if he hadn't been listening closely.
'Come in.'
At Ian's permission, Mika opened the door and quietly entered the room.
After glancing down the hallway and closing the door softly, Mika approached Ian with her face slightly flushed.
