Konohagakure No Sato:
Konoha Outskirts ( On The Walls ) :
On the massive boundary walls of Konohagakure, the vibe was completely different from the Konoha stadium. While the stadium had been filled with joy and celebration just moments before, the atmosphere on the wall was nothing but tense silence since the beginning .
Most of the Chunin stationed there were fully aware of the upcoming battle. Their Genin juniors, while still in the dark about the details, stood ready in the cool November morning breeze because of their Senior's Tense state and also the Combat Alert .
There were plenty of shinobi stationed on the walls this time around. Thanks to the village's meticulous preparations, Konoha was totally watertight and ready for anything—including all-out war. Right now, every single shinobi was completely focused on the three building-sized creatures slithering toward them.
"WOAHHH...!! Look at that, Senpai! What a big-ass snake!" a junior Genin exclaimed, peering at the giant serpents through his binoculars.
"......Yeah, and not just One , kiddo," his Senpai replied gruffly. He was a big, fat Chunin who was a shinobi in name but a sumo wrestler at heart, casually scratching his stomach.
" *Gulp*... But Senpai, how are we supposed to defend the wall against those monsters?!"
"Oh, .......by the Will of Fire, I guess??"
"....Senpai."
"Well, you stay right here. I'm gonna go check out what's happening inside the village."
".......NOOOO!" The junior was well aware of his Senpai's cowardly behavior, so he immediately dove and wrapped his arms around the older ninja's legs.
"Oi, let go of my leg!"
"Senpai, don't leave meeeee! *UWwwwaaaa* "
"But I don't wanna die!" The Senior replied slowly in low voice
".......YOU BASTARD! "
"It's okay, Junior! I will take good care of your mom and sister!"
"Arrghhhh, I'm gonna KILL you!"
".....Alright, stop whining , Things are not out of control "
"...I ain't letting go though"
" *Tch* Look over there first," the fat Senpai said, gesturing vaguely toward the giant snakes.
The 21-year-old junior Genin looked in the direction of the snakes, only to see them suddenly getting body-slammed and butchered by an equally massive creature.
"Toads...!!!"
"Yeah, the big guys will be handled by the big guys, Junior."
"So the village actually remembered us!"
"Of course. Now let go of my feet, I only like your mom or sis in that position."
".I am sorry, Senpai, for doubti------...... Wait, the f*ck did you just say, you bastard?!"
"It's fine. Now you stay here, and I'm gonna go see if the evacuation inside the village is done and make sure my 'family' is okay." The fat Senpai spoke rapidly, a single thought crossing his mind.
(Time for the hero to save the beauties!)
"Huh??"
Before the junior could even process that, his fat Senpai used the Body Flicker technique to run away, having just spotted the incoming Sand and Sound shinobi in the distance.
(....*Oof*, finally off the front lines. Thank God there are so many cute juniors back in the village.......... Banzai, Will of Fire!)
The Senpai sprinted away, wiping the sweat from his forehead and totally disregarding the screaming from behind him.
"......BASTARDDDDD...!!!"
"Don't lose focus , Here they are "
".....The Sand and Sound shinobi are coming...!!"
"Kill those tree-hugger bastards!"
"The Sand will show you our scorching will! It's war, Konoha bastards!"
"Destroy Konoha for Orochimaru-sama!"

"Kill the loud one so he doesn't alert the others!"

Konoha Village :
The village, usually bustling with life, was completely dead silent. You couldn't spot a single ordinary civilian on the streets. The shinobi present were dead quiet because they knew exactly what was about to go down. However, despite the tense atmosphere, one particular street was still pretty lively.
"This way!" shouted a random mob Genin of Konoha.
"Alright, no need to panic. Keep your pace steady," Shizune instructed calmly.
"OI! Konohamaru, where are you going?!" Iruka barked at the top of his lungs.
"I wanna pee, Iruka-sensei!" Konohamaru, the resident troublemaker, whined.
"DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO GO BEFORE WE LEFT?! HAAAAA!" Iruka shrieked like a banshee at the Hokage's grandson, immediately launching into a lecture. "AS AN ACADEMY STUDENT, YOU DON'T HAVE THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF AWARENESS! HOW DAR—"
"Alright, Iruka-san, let's save the lectures for after we reach the shelter," Shizune intervened softly.
"YES, SHIZUNE-SAMA!" Iruka replied instantly, his cheeks flushing like a total simp.
"Um, and Konohamaru?" Shizune's eyes drifted down to the little boy.
"...Yes?"
"There are toilets inside the shelters. Just wait a little bit........ Okay?"
"...But—"
Seeing Konohamaru's rebuttal , Shizune's eyes narrowed as she spoke
"Or you can always just relieve yourself right now."
".......You mean on the side of the road?"
"No. On the road."
"...Huh??"
"I mean just relieve yourself while you're walking."
"......I will hold it......... Believe it."
Shizune's eyes crinkled in a smile as she watched the last batch of villagers safely head into the massive shelter built into the back of the Hokage Mountain. Suddenly, the distant sounds of explosions echoed from the stadium and the outer walls. Shizune glanced toward the walls with a mix of worry and relief.
(......It's a good thing we started evacuating the moment the Chunin Exams started.)
Walking alongside Iruka, Konohamaru, and the rest of the civilians, they soon arrived at the secure base of the Hokage Mountain. They were immediately greeted by Elder Koharu.
"Elder Koharu."
"Mm. With this, all the villagers are now fully secured........ Jonin Saho."
"Yes, Elder!"
"Send the signal. It's time to counterattack..!!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
Soon, Koharu, Shizune, and the guarding shinobi watched as several hawks took to the skies, scattering to different designated zones across the village.
The hawks quickly reached the various gathering points where Konoha's real firepower—including the ANBU, veteran Jonin, and elite Chunin—were lying in wait. After reading the coded letters, every single shinobi shared the exact same thought:
"Let's go."
Konoha's forces moved out. Thanks to the Byakugan and extensive reconnaissance done beforehand, they already knew the locations of most of the enemy forces. Konoha shinobi poured out from their hiding spots, sweeping in all directions to seamlessly intercept the invaders.
Battles broke out everywhere—some outside the village gates, and some right inside the streets. It seemed the Sand Village had managed to sneak elite squads inside Konoha using Summoning Jutsu, likely with Orochimaru's help.
But with the civilians securely locked away and the streets abandoned, the Konoha shinobi completely took the gloves off. Since they knew the enemy movements and had the massive home-field advantage, the defending shinobi easily outnumbered the invaders.
Hokage Tower :
Watching the fierce fighting erupt across the village from the top of the Hokage Tower, Tsunade's eyes were cold and complicated.
(If it wasn't for the tense border situations with Iwa and Kumo...... we would have crushed these bugs with sheer numbers alone.)
Tsunade gritted her teeth, remembering that Konoha always had to keep a large chunk of their forces stationed at the borders just in case the other nations tried something sneaky. Still, she was puzzled about how the Sand had managed to smuggle this kind of strike force deep into the Land of Fire, let alone directly inside Konoha.
"...Orochimaru must have had a hand in th—"
*BOOM*
Tsunade's eyes snapped up as a massive explosion crumbled a section of the western boundary wall.
"Just what the hell is that idiot toad doing? ........Shikaku!"
"Yes, Tsunade-sama."
"See to it."
"On it......... Summoning the Hyuga now."
Tsunade glared at the breached wall, her brows furrowed deeply. Given the Sand and Sound's movements and Konoha's extensive countermeasures, the three Kage-level shinobi currently in the village had split the responsibilities:
The Third Hokage took charge of the eastern side where the stadium was, directly handling the Kazekage and the enemy's heaviest hitters.
Jiraiya was responsible for the first line of defense beyond & on the walls, coordinating the main army to stop the bulk of the invading forces outside.
(Hope the old man knows what he's doing.)
Tsunade focused her attention on the giant toad currently leaping over the outer wall. Jiraiya's job was to hold the perimeter, but Tsunade knew they would always be stretched thin compared to a full invasion force.
(One wall is already breached........ at least we have countermeasures in place for that, though.)
She couldn't really find it in her heart to fully blame Jiraiya. It wasn't like he knew the Flying Thunder God technique; he could only be in one place at a time.
(Regardless, with the traps and backup plans in place, it shouldn't be a massive problem........ Idiot Jiraiya.)
But another major worry gnawed at Tsunade's mind.
"......Where is the Kazekage??"
"Still no clue, Tsunade-sama."
"......*Boom*.."
In a sudden fit of rage, Tsunade punched the solid stone wall of the Hokage Building's roof, instantly cracking it. The supposed 'Kazekage' at the stadium was clearly a fake thanks to Hyuga's Information , but the real Kazekage was nowhere to be found. And there was absolutely no sign of Elder Chiyo, either.
(Where the hell are they..!!)
The surrounding shinobi sweated bullets watching the crumbling concrete and the sheer rage radiating off the Slug Sannin.
".....Keep constant surveillance. I want to hear about their whereabouts the second you find them!"
"Yes, Tsunade-sama!"
Tsunade stepped up to the edge of the roof, her green haori violently snapping in the wind as she glared down at her village.
"......Send out the ANBU."
"But Tsunade-sama, if we find the real Kazekage or the other heavy hitters later, retaliation might be difficult without our reserves!"
"Make sure there are enough left to guard the key locations so which they can hold off before we can send reinforcments , but send the rest out. We can't let our best manpower just sit on their hands while our people are actively dying in the streets!"
"....Understood." Inoichi nodded and immediately began establishing mental links across the village with the Yamanaka clan. However, his forehead was still creased with worry. Seeing his hesitation, Tsunade spoke up again.
"Taking care of any unregistered S-rank threats is my job. Just do as I say."
"Yes, ma'am."
Tsunade had just reiterated her specific role in this war. While the Third Hokage was fighting Orochimaru head-on alongside elites like Kakashi and Might Guy, and Jiraiya was leading the main army at the walls,
Tsunade was the ultimate safety net. Her job was to coordinate the entire battlefield from the tower and personally neutralize any S-rank threats that exceeded the village's tactical calculations.
BOOM!
Hearing yet another massive explosion rock the Konoha Stadium in the distance, Tsunade's thoughts drifted back to the old man.
(I don't know what the hell is going on over there.)

Konoha Stadium: Chunin Exam Venue
Down on the arena floor, the sand monster was buried under a mountain of dirt, consumed by sheer pain and hatred right in front of Sasuke.
"Odama Rasengan!"
Naruto delivered a massive Rasengan onto the two-meter-tall Gaara, who had already partially donned his monstrous Sand Tanuki form. Thanks to his passive Mindhub skill, Naruto was acutely aware of almost everything happening across the stadium.
Though his broader focus had lingered on the Third Hokage's side right up until Gaara completed his transformation, Naruto's attention had already sharply shifted back to the dirt.
Watching Sasuke get aggressively battered around by Gaara wasn't exactly something Naruto wanted to sit through. But just as the assault on the Hokage began, the stadium erupted into absolute chaos.
Breaking through the massive genjutsu and fighting off enemy shinobi took precious time. By the time Naruto finally freed his hands, he found Sasuke lying paralyzed on the ground with Gaara lumbering toward him.
Seeing that, Naruto didn't hesitate for a second. He leaped from the spectator stands, using his blinding speed to intercept the Sand Tanuki's path from above, and slammed his jutsu down to finish things.
"GAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"
Hearing Gaara's bloodcurdling screams, Naruto's eyes tightened as he wove a familiar hand sign.
[Shadow Clone Jutsu]
A swarm of shadow clones materialized across the arena, each immediately dispersing to carry out their own missions. One of the clones rushed over to Sasuke, picked him up, and retreated a safe distance away from the main combat zone that was about to welcome Naruto and Gaara.
"I WILL KILLLLL YOUUUUUU..."
Soon, the heavy dust shifted, and Gaara's completely enraged form emerged. Even in his reinforced Tanuki form, Gaara was spitting up blood, with deep structural cracks spider-webbing all over his body.
(Well, a Rasengan does do internal damage, after all,) Naruto thought, staring down the nearly berserk beast.
Suddenly, the air pressure shifted, and Naruto realized he wasn't standing alone anymore.
Shing!
Yugao smoothly unsheathed her sword, instantly appearing right at Naruto's side. But she wasn't the only backup arriving.
"Naruto-kun..." Hinata murmured, her eyes filled with worry.
".......You good, Naruto?" Ino asked, stepping up.
"Ahh, so troublesome," Shikamaru sighed, slouching his shoulders.
"...." Shino silently adjusted his glasses.
"I don't entirely get what the hell is happening, but we're fighting, right Akamaru?!" Kiba barked, baring his teeth.
"WOOF!"
"SASUKE-KUN!" Sakura shrieked, rushing past the front lines.
".....Hope I'm not late," Karin muttered, she had sneakaed in the stadium to watch Naruto's match but looking at the things she also understood why Tsunade nee has asked her to stay at the house with her mom .
".....It's definitely better to stick together in this kind of chaos," Hana Inuzuka noted, her hounds growling.
"I'm here too," Shizuka announced, arriving on cue and scanning the perimeter just in case , She was also present at the stadium , a shame though as Gina was till in hospital while suneo and Nobita were busy in their own duties.
"OOHHH! Don't leave me behind while we proudly display our burning youth!" Rock Lee roared, striking a dramatic pose as he also moved .
"....Shut up and focus, Lee," Tenten snapped.
For a split second, Gaara felt completely surrounded. Just like the very first day he stepped foot inside Konoha, he felt isolated and boxed in—but that didn't last long.
".....GAARA!" Temari shouted, landing nearby with her massive fan at the ready.
"Damn, things are seriously getting out of hand here," Kankuro muttered, unleashing his puppet as he took up a defensive stance beside his brother.
Just as the tension hit a boiling point, the sharp sounds of clashing steel and fighting shinobi echoed across the field. All the Genin glanced aside to see the exam proctor, Shiranui Genma, single-handedly clashing with a swarm of Sand and Sound shinobi.
Seeing the proctor getting overwhelmed, Naruto was just about to signal his clones for backup, when suddenly—
"DYNAMIC ENTRY!!!"
*BOOM*
Out of nowhere, an enemy Sand shinobi was violently kicked in the chest. While the remaining Sound ninja, Genma, and the others were left bewildered, another Sound shinobi abruptly dropped to the ground, his throat suddenly slit from behind.
"Gahhh..."
The shinobis in the arena watched in awe as Kakashi stepped out from behind the falling enemy, a blood-stained kunai in his hand. Kakashi walked calmly toward Gaara, making his target entirely clear.
But before he could take another step, Baki dropped down alongside a fresh squad of enemy reinforcements, locking eyes with the Copy Ninja—whose visible eye was currently standard black, without the Sharingan .
An incredibly tense standoff was formed. On one side stood Baki, Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, and the remaining enemy shinobi. On the other stood Kakashi, Guy, Genma, Yugao ,Naruto, Hana, Shikamaru, Shino, Kiba and Akamaru, Hinata, Karin, Ino, and Shizuka.
Breaking the silence, Baki spoke softly but sharply toward Gaara.
"Gaara."
"WHAT?!"
"Prepare for the full transformation."
"SHUT UP, I will decide what to do!"
"You have already made plenty of mistakes," Baki shot back coldly. "If anything more goes wrong, then you can confront the Kazekage yourself."
"........Grrrr!" Gaara growled, his sand churning.
Baki turned to his squad. "Everyone, listen."
"....." Temari and the others braced themselves.
"Buy time for Gaara to complete his full transformation, and then immediately retreat."
"Yes!"
While Baki was issuing instructions, Kakashi was busy doing the same for his side.
"Guy, Genma, let's focus entirely on the Jonin," Kakashi ordered smoothly. "Yugao, you should keep an eye on things and provide appropriate help when necessary."
"YOSHH! Let's count who eliminates more enemies!" Guy roared.
"....Ahh, sure," Genma muttered, spitting out his Senbon .
"....Mm," Yugao nodded firmly.
Kakashi locked his eyes onto Baki, while Guy and the others picked out their specific targets. Then, Kakashi commanded again.
"Naruto."
"...Hm?"
"Take care of things down here. Right now, I am officially assigning you an S-rank mission as Captain, with all the Genin present here under your command."
".....Alright," Naruto replied, getting serious.
"Do you guys understand?" Kakashi addressed the rest of the Genin, dropping his casual tone. "This is war, and a real battlefield. Stay together and coordinate. Your main mission is to survive and keep things in check."
"That's right! Tenten, Lee, make sure to burn your youth together!" Guy added.
The gathered Genin nodded sharply after a moment to process the reality of the situation. Seeing that everything was ready, Baki and Kakashi locked eyes one last time. Wind Release chakra started swirling violently in Baki's hand, while Kakashi unsheathed his White Fang , enveloping it in a brilliant white radiance.
BOOM!
The Jonin kicked off. Kakashi and Baki instantly took their distance across the arena, while Guy and the other veterans scattered across the massive field, initiating high-speed clashes. The entire stadium was officially a multi-layered warzone.
The main building rooftop was completely occupied by the Third Hokage and Orochimaru, trapped inside the purple Blazing barrier. The upper spectator roofs hosted brutal confrontations between standard Konoha shinobi and the invaders. The stadium corridors housed hidden enemy ambush squads fighting Konoha's pre-arranged interceptors.
And finally, back down on the arena ground, the Genins were left to kick things off.
Naruto scanned the opposing side. Standing with the Sand Siblings were a few Chunin, but the bulk of their forces were Genin from the Sand and Sound villages.
Naruto calculated the numbers fast. Konoha technically had 14 people on the floor—Full Team 7, Team 8, Ino, Shikamaru, Shizuka, Karin, Tenten, Lee, Hana, and Yugao.
However, their opposition boasted 23 shinobi.
Furthermore, Sasuke was indisposed. Karin was primarily a medical and sealing ninja with hardly any combat ability. Hana was also a medic whose combat ceiling sat around low-Chunin level. And then there was Sakura, who, frankly, was currently more useless than even Tenten.
(.....Let's move the deadweights and specialists to safety while also utilizing their value first,) Naruto thought. He looked over at Ino, who had already seamlessly connected their entire squad into a unified mental network.
[ Author Note : The following is the conversation using Ino's mind link and theKonoha side ]
"Karin, heal Sasuke. Sakura, defend Sasuke. I'm putting two shadow clones to keep an eye on things on your side."
"On it!" Karin replied mentally as she slwoly moved backward
"SASUKE-KUN!" Sakura cried out in her mind and also in reality as she ran back under the twitching eyes of her own side and smirking sand and sound side .
Naruto simply ignored Sakura and continued mapping out the fight.
(Temari mostly uses Wind Release. Wind is naturally weak against Fire, so....)
"Shika and Shizuka, you two will focus entirely on Temari .......shizuka focus on fire with shika as backup , see how you see fit "
"Alright," Shizuka responded.
"Ugh, fighting a woman again. Troublesome," Shikamaru complained.
While Karin and the defensive unit moved back, Shikamaru and Shizuka subtly adjusted their stances, ready to jump Temari the absolute second the fight started.
Seeing the positioning lock in, Naruto nodded and spoke through the link again.
(Kankuro can easily be left to Shino....... but...)
"Shino and Hana-nee, focus on Kankuro......... Keep your guard up and beware of a puppeteer's poison."
"Alright," Shino replied methodically.
"Mm," Hana Inuzuka agreed mentally.
With the primary threats accounted for, Naruto issued the blitz orders.
"Kiba, Lee. You two will move fast to eliminate the weaker ones first, then immediately loop back to help the others........... Take this seriously ok "
"YOSHH! I am completely fired up! First Gate of Opening... OPEN !" Lee roared mentally, choosing to get serious right from the get-go.
"Finally! I almost thought you forgot who the alpha was around here. Let's go, Akamaru!" Kiba grinned.
"Hinata, use your Byakugan and Protective 64 Trigrams to dispel any unseen projectiles. Move with Tenten. You deflect the opposition's stray weapons while Tenten provides long-range support with the help of your Byakugan's tracking....... Focus mostly on their explosion tags."
"Yes, Naruto-kun! *BYAKUGAN* " Hinata nodded firmly as her kekkei genkai flared to life.
"....Alright then," Tenten added, unrolling her scroll.
"Yugao-nee, you stay with Hinata and provide support according to Hinata's input."
"Alright," Yugao responded calmly.
"I will handle Gaara myself, and use my shadow clones to help control the field, and—"
Before Naruto could finish his tactical briefing, one of the opposing Sand Chunin impatiently stormed forward.
"Fucking bastards! They must be planning something! Don't wait, let's—"
Shiing! Splurt!
Suddenly, the Sand Chunin froze, with a sword piercing straight through his chest. Looking down, he stared at the bloody tip of the blade protruding from his chest.
But The Chunin was completely puzzled—how the hell could anyone target his back when all the enemies were standing right in front of him?
With immense difficulty, the dying Chunin forced his head around. Simultaneously, the rest of his allies whipped their heads toward the attacker, only to freeze in shock. The person holding the sword was none other than their own comrade.
" *Cough!* Ma... Mato... YOU...!! ...WHY *cough* WOULD YOU BETRAY THE SAND?!"
The Chunin questioned his teammate—a brother-in-arms he had known since they were twelve. It was a terrifying question that left every single Sand and Sound ninja incredibly paranoid and on guard. But 'Mato' didn't say a word. He simply twisted the blade, cutting the Chunin down before ripping the sword out.
Seeing the blatant betrayal, a few veteran Chunin and Genin blurred forward, piercing Mato's body with their own blades. But Mato's reaction caught everyone completely off guard. Instead of screaming, he actually dropped his sword and used his entire bleeding body to tightly grip every enemy within arm's reach.
Looking around at the terrified invaders, the traitor 'Mato' smirked.
"......Never heard of the Yamanaka clan, huh?"
"What—?!"
"Ehe."
"GET BACK! GET BACK!!!"
BOOM! BOOM!
A series of dense, blinding explosions violently erupted right in the dead center of the enemy ranks. Ino had detonated every single paper bomb packed inside Mato's ninja tool pouch.
The strategy was simple.
The Second the enemy commander had started talking to Naruto, Ino had already made her move. Hiding her physical body completely behind Naruto's back, she had initiated her Mind Transfer Jutsu, taking control of a completely unsuspecting enemy Genin positioned directly in the middle of their tight formation.
Under Naruto's telepathic guidance, she assassinated the most threatening enemy commander after Gaara, before turning the host into a human bomb.
Back behind him, Ino gasped as she woke up safely in her own body. Across the arena, the smoke cleared to reveal a massive chunk of the enemy forces wiped out, their numbers severely dwindled.
Seeing the chaos, Naruto drew his Silver-black blades and grinned.
"Let's GO....!!"
"OHH!!!" the Genin roared in unison, charging forward to completely tear into the remaining invaders.

I want to end this arc in the next 2 or 3 chapters .
I don't wanna write other Genins fight except for some highlights , but if you are curious then tell me .
The same with Third and Orochimaru , except for the end and a little twist that I added .
