Chapter 58 - Chapter 58: Evolution and Saffron City

After everything was done, Meowscarada and Lopunny cleaned my cock with slow, loving licks.

Their tongues worked together, warm and gentle, lapping up every last trace until I was glistening clean again.

Meowscarada finished with a final soft kiss to the tip, purring "Nyaa♡~", while Lopunny nuzzled my thigh with a quiet "Lopuu♡~".

We returned to camp quietly, slipping back into the blankets near the low fire.

Ralts slept peacefully on her padded blanket, breathing steady.

I pulled Meowscarada and Lopunny close, their warm fur against me, and drifted off surrounded by their gentle warmth.

When we woke up the next morning, sunlight filtered through the trees.

Meowscarada stretched first, yawning with a cute "Nyaa~".

Lopunny rubbed her eyes, ears flopping as she sat up.

Then we noticed Ralts.

It lay curled on its padded blanket right beside me, still unconscious, eyes closed, breathing the same shallow rhythm as before.

But it was no longer Ralts.

In its place was a small, elegant Kirlia.

It had evolved in its coma overnight.

Meowscarada tilted her head, pink eyes wide with surprise. "Nyaa...?"

Lopunny leaned closer, ears twitching. "Lopuu~?"

I knelt down slowly, heart pounding.

Kirlia's body felt a little heavier now, the red horn longer and more defined, the white dress-like form shimmering faintly in the morning light filtering through the tent fabric.

It was beautiful... but still lost in sleep.

My heart skipped.

Ralts... no, Kirlia...

A surge of hope rushed through me.

Maybe evolution changed something. Maybe it will wake up now.

I gently shook its small shoulders, voice soft and pleading.

"Kirlia... come on... wake up. Please... you evolved. You're stronger now. Just open your eyes..."

No response.

Kirlia remained still, peaceful, but unresponsive.

The hope faded into quiet disappointment.

I swallowed hard, throat tight, eyes stinging with unshed tears.

"It evolved... but it's still not waking up."

The evolution had happened naturally, but the coma remained.

Meowscarada and Lopunny crowded close.

Meowscarada nuzzled Kirlia's cheek with a worried "Nyaa...?", pink eyes wide and soft.

Lopunny hummed a gentle, comforting "Lopuu♡~", her paw resting on my shoulder as she leaned in to brush Kirlia's horn with her hand.

They both pressed against me, purring low and steady, their warmth wrapping around us like a blanket.

I held Kirlia a moment longer, then carefully returned it to the Dream Ball.

Meowscarada licked my cheek softly, purring reassurance.

Lopunny squeezed my hand, eyes full of quiet support.

We stayed like that for a while, just breathing together.

To cheer me up, my Pokémon dressed quickly and tugged me outside.

We did some normal exercise after that, stretching, light jogging, basic training to shake off the morning chill.

Viper and Nova, who had woken up early, watched from their hidden spot.

They observed me and my Pokémon doing exercises... didn't find anything interesting.

The journey continued...

Days passed like that, walking south, camping each night, small moments of play and comfort with Meowscarada and Lopunny, checking on Kirlia every morning.

It stayed asleep.

Finally, after several long days of travel, we reached Saffron City at night.

The city lights sparkled in the dark, towering skyscrapers glowing with neon and golden windows.

The massive buildings dominated the skyline.

The streets were busy even late at night. People hurried under street lamps, the air filled with the hum of traffic and distant chatter.

Saffron felt alive, powerful, and a little overwhelming after the quiet trails.

We headed straight to the Pokémon Center to get some rest before looking for a way to cure Kirlia.

The familiar red roof stood out among the modern buildings. Warm lights spilled from the windows.

Nurse Joy greeted us with her usual gentle smile as we walked in.

"Welcome to the Saffron City Pokémon Center. How may I help you?"

I nodded, feeling the day's walk in my legs. "We've traveled far. Just looking for a place to rest tonight."

She nodded warmly and began checking us in.

Then I took out the Dream Ball and explained Kirlia's situation.

I told her everything that had happened on Mt. Moon, the psychic overload, the coma-like state that followed and how it had evolved into Kirlia on its own overnight.

Kirlia was still asleep inside the ball, breathing steady but unresponsive.

Nurse Joy listened carefully, her expression turning serious.

"I see. That's a severe psychic trauma. Saffron City has the strongest psychic users in Kanto... and the most powerful one is Sabrina, the Gym Leader."

She paused, lowering her voice a little.

"But she's dangerous in her own way. Her powers are immense, but she's cold. Unpredictable. Some say she can read minds, trap people in illusions, or even turn them into dolls if she loses control. She's not cruel, but she doesn't hold back. Many trainers who challenge her leave shaken... or worse."

I looked down at the Dream Ball.

The thought of facing Sabrina sent a small chill down my spine, spreading cold through my chest. Hearing about the doll part made my past-life memories feel sharper, more real, she really could turn people into dolls. But I pushed it aside, forcing the fear down deep.

"I'll try my best," I said quietly. "This Pokémon needs my help. I can't back down now."

Nurse Joy nodded, respect shining in her eyes.

"I understand. You're brave. But there's one person you should consider first before visiting her. He knows psychic Pokémon better than most, and he might be able to help."

She wrote an address on a small card and handed it to me along with our room keys.

"His name is William. If anyone can reach Kirlia's mind safely, it's him."

I took the card, grateful.

"Thank you, Nurse Joy. Really."

She smiled softly.

"Rest well tonight. And good luck tomorrow."

I nodded and headed to the room alone with Meowscarada and Lopunny, leaving Kirlia's Dream Ball with Nurse Joy for safekeeping.

But what we didn't know, someone was watching us closely from the moment we entered the city.

The moment we left, the Dream Ball shimmered faintly on the counter.

Nurse Joy turned away for just a second.

When she looked back, it was gone.

She blinked, glancing around the empty desk. "Where...?"

Ten minutes later, it reappeared exactly as she'd left it, undisturbed.

She frowned slightly but shrugged it off, probably just misplaced.

She didn't pay much attention, placing it safely.
