"How did they manage to arrange so many books in such a short time?" A freshman at Ravenclaw excitedly traced the spines of the thick, parchment-covered books with his finger.
" Ordinary Spells and Counter-Spells ..." " Cleverly Overcoming the Dark Arts ..." " A Collection of Self-Defense Spells ..." Wow..." The young wizards' faces lit up.
It's worth noting that if a professor had assigned them these thick books as homework, they would certainly have read them, but they would never have been as engaged or active as they are now.
"This is great, we have everything we need." Michael looked excitedly at the various tools placed on the table, such as the Sneakoscopes and Privacy Sensors .
Edward kicked the large satin cushion at his feet. "What is this for?"
"These are really useful when practicing the Stunning technique ," Michael said excitedly.
Their excitement didn't last long, as Allen and Penelope divided them into groups. Michael was honored to be the Group Leader , and this made him very happy.
The classroom soon fell silent.
Penelope distributed the training plan she and Allen had prepared, and the Group Leaders spontaneously directed the Young Wizards to practice.
Some of the first-year Young Wizards were still practicing the basics of Flying Magic , enthusiastically waving and fiddling with their wands .
There were also some middle and upper-class students who used the Expelliarmus spell. Allen noticed that even fifth-year students used the spell haphazardly; many were unable to disarm their opponents, only forcing them to jump back or flinch a few steps as weak spells whistled over their heads .
The room filled with the boisterous sounds of magic, wands flew everywhere, and random spells struck the books on the shelves, sending volumes flying.
Someone's magic wand flew, hit the ceiling, sparked, and then crashed onto a bookshelf. Allen retrieved it using a Summoning Spell .
Suddenly, the classroom gradually fell silent.
" Headmaster Dumbledore !" Many of the young wizards couldn't hide their excitement. Had the Headmaster come to visit them?
"Well done!" Dumbledore smiled and waved to the Young Wizards .
Then he looked at Allen and said, " Harris , please allow me to interrupt your training. Would you perhaps like to listen to this old man's rambling?"
Dumbledore winked mischievously at Allen, whichcaused many of the Young Wizards to laugh.
Allen nodded slightly, but couldn't quite manage a smile; he didn't like having his carefully planned schedule disrupted and his rhythm interrupted.
After giving Penelope a few instructions , Allenfollowed Dumbledore to the Headmaster's Office.
They arrived in front of the Stone Gargoyle . Dumbledore gave the code, the gargoyle split in two, and he and Allen walked up the moving spiral staircase towards the oak door.
Dumbledore pushed the door open, and Allen followed him inside.
Elegant silver instruments sat on a slender-footed table, turning silently and emitting smoke.
The portraits of past principals and directors seemed to be snoring within their frames; the directors lazily reclined in their chairs or leaned against the edges of their portraits.
Allen looked beyond the polished surface of Dumbledore's desk at the Headmaster , who sat in the large armchair , constantly pondering the reason for his summons .
Perhaps the reason was Sirius , a member of the Order of the Phoenix and one of the most prominent figures of late , Allen speculated.
"Perhaps we can have something to quench our thirst before we speak." Dumbledore winked again, and a tray flew down the shelf in front of him. On the tray, conspicuously, was a bottle of Spanish wine and a few glasses; under Dumbledore's control, the bottle was now filling the glasses for both of them .
"It's not uncommon to perform spells at this level without using a wand , but the control is extraordinarily precise," Allen praised within the company.
" Sirius gave this to me. I think good wine is more delicious when shared. This Fruit Wine should be suitable for underage Wizards – just don't tell Minerva …"
Dumbledore examined the wine label, offered the full glass to Allen, and raised his own glass, inviting him to drink with him.
Allen, of course, understood that refusing to toast an Englishman was a grave offense, so he picked up his glass.
However, her slightly narrowed eyes never stopped observing Dumbledore .
Professor Dumbledore looked extremely kind, smiling at Allen like an innocent child sharing candy with a friend.
Allen brought the glass lightly to his lips, but not a drop of wine entered his mouth. He put the glass down, and the Professor didn't shake it .
" Sirius is very grateful to you; you helped him regain his innocence," Dumbledore said gently. "However, I also heard about the exchange between the two of you."
Allen raised a slight eyebrow. " Sir , I think Equivalent Exchange is necessary. No one can achieve their goals randomly without paying a price."
In Dumbledore's eyes, the young wizard before him, though only thirteen years old, was extremely cautious in his actions. He couldn't help but remember the news he had received that day.
Allen's older brother , Albert Harris , had been promoted within the Ministry of Magic to become one of the Directors of the Auror Command .
His father, Owen Harris , was appointed Assistant Director of the Magic Law Enforcement Office . His other older brother, Lenn Harris, was also transferred to the same office.
His mother and sister were also transferred from St. Mungos Hospital for Magical Illnesses and Injuries to the Magical Accidents and Disasters Department . UU Reading www.uukanshu.net
Even his aunt, Josephine Harris, was promoted to head of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures .
Without delving further into the intrigues behind these events, Dumbledore looked at Allen and tried to change the subject. "Allen,do you know why Lord Voldemort is so determined to kill Harry ?"
Allen shook his head and looked at Dumbledore , but deep down he knew this was a tragedy caused by a prophecy.
A pool of thoughts flew onto the table. Dumbledore pulled out his memory and placed it in the pool of thoughts .
A figure wrapped in a shawl emerged from within. Its eyes, enlarged behind glasses, appeared unusually large. Its feet slowly turned in the pool of thoughts .
Allen recognized her instantly: it was Sybill Trelawney from Divination class , a professor at Hogwarts .
But when she opened her mouth, a high-pitched, muffled sound came out.
" The one who possesses the power to defeat the Devil's Head is approaching… He will be born to parents who have challenged the Devil's Head three times … he will be born at the end of the seventh month… and the Devil's Head will mark him as his equal, but he will possess a power the Devil's Head is unaware of… and one of them must die at the hands of the other because neither can live as long as the other survives… The one who possesses the power to defeat the Devil's Head will be born at the end of the seventh month..."
The image disappeared.
" Lord Voldemort has marked Harry . Harry is the only one who can defeat the Demon King . Allen!" Professor Dumbledore's expression suddenly turned serious.
"I know you were once very close friends with Harry . He's going to face far more pressure than anyone else in the wizarding world . Lord Voldemort will stop at nothing to eliminate Harry . He needs your help."
Professor Dumbledore looked Allen in the eyes.
