Chapter 11 - the Tyrant

The Tyrant's End

[Planet Vegarius - Broadcast Across the Galaxy]

The armada lay in ruins.

Hundreds of ships—reduced to burning wreckage scattered across Vegarius's atmosphere. Krieeza's elite soldiers—the ones who'd terrorized entire sectors—defeated, unconscious, or dead.

And at the center of the devastation stood Andrew Hayado, his blue gi torn and bloodied, his body battered but unbroken.

Before him floated Lord Krieeza the tyrant who'd destroyed Planet Vegeta, who'd ruled through fear for decades, who'd never once felt true challenge.

He was already in his final form sleek, white and purple, tail swishing behind him. This wasn't arrogance. This was annoyance. He'd skipped his transformations entirely, wanting to end this quickly.

Across the galaxy, on every resistance channel, every monitoring station, the broadcast played:

"The Saiyan Prince stands before Krieeza. This is it. The moment we've been waiting for."

Lord Krieeza: (voice cold, dismissive) "You're really quite tiresome for a monkey. All this effort, all these planets you've 'liberated' He said the word with mocking disdain. "

and for what? You can't beat me. No one can."

Andrew: (breathing hard, blood dripping from his mouth) "I'm not no one. I'm the last Saiyan. And I'm here to end you."

Lord Krieeza: (smirking) "The last Saiyan? How poetic. Then let me do what I should have done years ago—erase your miserable race completely."

[Earth - Hidden Location]

King Kai's voice echoed through Vali and Kuroka's minds—an astral projection he'd established weeks ago in preparation for this moment.

King Kai: "It's happening. Andrew's facing Krieeza right now."

Vali: (standing abruptly from where he'd been meditating) "How's he doing?"

King Kai: "He's outmatched. Krieeza's final form is beyond anything Andrew's faced. Even with Kaioken x25, he can't—"

Kuroka: (ears flattening, voice tight) "Can't what? Can't win? Can't survive?"

King Kai: "I… I don't know. But Krieeza's gathering energy. He's going to destroy the entire planet. Everyone on Vegarius—the resistance, the civilians, Andrew—all of them."

Silence fell like a weight.

Vali: (fists clenched so hard they bled) "Damn it, Andrew. You better not die out there."

Kuroka: (touching the spot on her cheek where she'd kissed him before he left, tears threatening) "Come back. You promised."

[Planet Vegarius - The Clash]

Krieeza raised one finger, and a massive sphere of destructive energy materialized above him—purple-black, crackling with death.

Lord Krieeza: "This planet has about three minutes before I obliterate it. You, the resistance, every pathetic lifeform clinging to false hope—gone. Erased. As your entire race should have been."

Andrew: (struggling to stand, his body screaming in pain) "No… I won't… let you…"

Lord Krieeza: "And what are you going to do? You can barely stand."

Andrew's vision blurred. His Kaioken was failing—he'd pushed it too far, too long. His body was breaking down.

I can't… I can't lose. Not now. Not when everyone's counting on me.

Lord Krieeza: "Any last words, monkey?"

Andrew's mind raced, grasping for anything—any memory, any motivation, any reason to keep fighting.

[Flashback - Three Years Ago, Before He Left]

Issei: (gripping Andrew's shoulders, tears in his eyes) "You can do anything. I know you're strong enough. You're my brother. You're the strongest person I know."

Andrew: (smiling despite his own uncertainty) "I'll come back, Issei. I promise."

[Flashback - Two Years Ago, The Night Before Departure]

Vali: (extending his fist) "Don't die out there, partner. You're my rival. The only person who's ever made me feel like I have an equal." His gray eyes burned with intensity. "So you better come back alive. Because we're not done fighting yet."

Andrew: (bumping fists) "Wouldn't dream of disappointing you."

[Flashback - That Same Night, Alone with Kuroka]

The campfire had died down. Vali was asleep in his bedroll. Andrew sat at the edge of camp, staring at the stars—the ones he'd soon be traveling through.

Kuroka approached quietly, sitting beside him.

Kuroka: "You're scared."

Andrew: "A little."

Kuroka: "That's good. Fear keeps you alive, nya." She was quiet for a moment. "But you're also the bravest person I've ever met. Leaving everyone behind to face something this dangerous…"

Andrew: "Someone has to."

Kuroka: "Doesn't mean it has to be you. But…" She smiled sadly. "I'm glad it is."

She leaned in, her soft lips pressing against his cheek—warm, gentle, lingering just a moment longer than necessary.

Kuroka: (whispering) "Good luck charm. So you have to come back. To return it properly, nya."

Andrew's face had flushed red, and Kuroka had laughed—light and genuine—before retreating to her own bedroll.

He'd touched that spot on his cheek every night since.

[Present - The Awakening]

Andrew: (eyes snapping open, voice steady despite the pain) "…Heh. That's right."

Lord Krieeza: "What?"

Andrew: (pushing himself to his feet, his body trembling but his resolve absolute) "I can't die. Not yet."

His ki began to surge—not like before, not controlled and measured. This was raw. Primal. Desperate.

Andrew: "I made promises. To my brother. To my partner. To…" His hand touched his cheek. "To her."

Lord Krieeza: "Pathetic sentimentality. It won't

Andrew: "SHUT UP!"

His ki EXPLODED.

The ground shattered beneath him, cracking in a massive radius. The sky above darkened from the sheer pressure of his energy.

His hair began to spike upward, flickering—black to blonde to black to blonde—like a strobe light. His body convulsed with power it wasn't meant to contain.

Andrew: (screaming through the pain) "I WON'T LET YOU DESTROY ANYTHING ELSE! I WON'T LET YOU WIN!"

His eyes flickered—brown to teal to brown to teal.

Lord Krieeza: (actually taking a step back, uncertainty crossing his face) "What… what is this?!"

Andrew: "THIS IS FOR MY PARENTS! FOR MY RACE! FOR EVERYONE YOU'VE EVER HURT!"

Golden light consumed him completely.

Andrew: "HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

The blast of energy exploded outward like a supernova, vaporizing everything within a hundred meters.

[The Dust Settles]

When the light faded, when the dust cleared, when the shockwave finally dissipated—

A figure stood in the crater.

Bathed in golden ki that crackled like living fire. His once-black hair now fully blonde, standing on end, sharp and wild. His once-brown eyes now teal blue, glowing with ancient power.

His aura was no longer white-blue. It was pure gold—radiant, overwhelming, primal.

Super Saiyan.

The legend. The transformation spoken of in whispers. The form that hadn't been seen in a thousand years.

Awakened.

[Across the Galaxy - Reactions]

Resistance HQ:

Resistance Leader: (staring at the broadcast, tears streaming down his face) "He did it. He actually did it. The legend is real."

Earth - King Kai's Communication:

King Kai: (voice filled with awe) "He's done it. Andrew has achieved Super Saiyan. …"

Vali: "At what?!"

King Kai: "Nine million. His power level is nine million."

Kuroka: (collapsing to her knees in relief) "He's alive. He's alive…"

Vali: (staring at nothing, a grin slowly spreading across his face) "That magnificent bastard actually did it."

Kuoh Academy - Issei's Room:

Issei woke suddenly, gasping. He didn't know why—but something deep inside him, something connected to his brother, had just surged.

Ddraig: [Partner… I just felt something. A power awakening. Ancient. Primal. Saiyan.]

Issei: (touching his chest, tears inexplicably forming) "Andrew… what have you become?"

[Planet Vegarius - Face to Face]

Andrew stood in his crater, golden aura crackling, teal eyes locked on Krieeza.

Lord Krieeza: (genuine fear in his voice for the first time in decades) "Impossible. The Super Saiyan legend… it's just a myth!"

Andrew: (voice calm, controlled, lethal) "Myths are just truths people forgot. And you're about to remember why Saiyans were feared."

He took a single step forward.

Krieeza flinched.

Andrew: "Round two. Let's see how long you last."
