The needle pierced into the blood vessel, and Shea Thorne looked at her hand. She wanted to shout "ouch" to gain sympathy, but since Milo Sinclair didn't actually hurt her with the needle, she meekly kept quiet.
"What did you eat yesterday?" Milo Sinclair put away the medical supplies, asking Shea coldly, but she didn't dare to speak.
After the "taste of liver and lung" incident, while Milo hadn't lost his temper, they made a dramatic escape from Jenson Hall.
The four girls went outside the school for some skewers, and because Shea managed to win a round against Milo, she was in high spirits, having a big appetite and eating plenty of spicy and sour food without hesitation.
But that night, back at the dorm, it turned tragic; out of the whole room, only Shea got sick, while the others were perfectly fine.
So, she ended up being sent to Sinclair Hospital in an ambulance, sparks flying and all, back into Milo's grasp, with no hope of escape.
