"Sparkle, what's wrong?"
"Nothing." Sparkle Gold covered with a cough.
She couldn't possibly say that she embarrassed herself with impure thoughts, right?
Cheryl Linton didn't suspect anything: "I noticed Lord Imperia's expression doesn't seem good. Did you two have a fight?"
"Who knows what's wrong with him." Sparkle Gold pouted. She too wanted someone to tell her what madness Evan Saint was up to.
"He helped you out of trouble and then asked me to give you clothes, showing he cares about you. Why don't you go and coax him?"
"No way." Just thinking about what that man did to her earlier, Sparkle Gold couldn't bear the idea.
He humiliated her then left without saying a word. Running after him to ask what's wrong would just be degrading herself.
"Sparkle, just go." Cheryl Linton clung to her arm, pouting, not wanting her friend to feel bad.
Unable to resist, Sparkle Gold reluctantly compromised: "Fine, fine, I'll go."
