Sierra Summers's small hands clenched into fists pressed against Caleb Sterling's chest, her red lips slightly parted, "You kissed me?"
"Not allowed to kiss?" Caleb touched her slightly flushed face, leaned in with his nose against hers, and asked in a low voice.
Sierra blinked, blinked furiously, unable to speak for a moment. She recalled what Caleb just said, sometimes wanting to say, "I wasn't flirting with you," and other times wanting to answer his "Allow or not allow a kiss" question. Her mouth opened and closed, but her voice seemed stuck in her throat, unable to come out.
Seeing her so flustered, her face getting redder and even a tinge of red at the corners of her eyes, Caleb chuckled softly.
She was so adorable, he didn't know what to do.
Faced with such a young girl, all his desires felt beastly at this moment.
