Caleb Sterling sighed deeply, noting Sierra Summers' playful charm.
The two of them chatted for a while, purely talking to each other about nothing in particular.
Sierra wasn't done being playful, her little fits of temper becoming more pronounced in front of Caleb. She glanced at the time on her phone, then at the message she sent to Caleb, steering the conversation back.
"Caleb, how exactly should I prepare for tomorrow's dinner?"
When Sierra sent the message, Caleb immediately had someone look into it. It's easy to investigate college students.
He admired Sierra's cautious attitude, "Whatever you do, I'm here to back you up, so don't worry. You did the right thing. In the future, if there's anything you're unsure of, feel free to ask me."
Caleb spoke with restraint. According to his desire to control Sierra, he genuinely wished Sierra wouldn't have to worry about anything other than staying by his side.
But he would never actually say that.
