Opening the door, Sierra Summers looked up and met Caleb Sterling's eyes, who stood at the doorway looking slightly aggrieved.
Sierra brushed her hair, tucking a strand that fell over her chest behind her ear, and looked up with a smile, "What's up? Are you staring?"
As Sierra moved, the strap on her shoulder slightly slipped down to her arm, revealing a mole on her fair skin, previously concealed by the delicate strap.
Caleb's breath hitched.
Sierra stood before him in the dress he personally had custom-made for her, even playfully glaring at him.
Caleb's fingers twitched slightly, hesitatingly lifting to adjust Sierra's strap back in place, his voice low like he was talking to himself, "The strap slipped down."
Then, in response to Sierra's puzzled look, he earnestly complimented, "Cecilia, you look beautiful."
