Celeste Yates paused for a moment, turned to leave, but then inexplicably turned her head to look back.
Sierra Summers was running towards the man standing next to the car, her back radiating joy and excitement. Celeste Yates saw her leap onto the man, wrapping her legs around his waist, as if she was trying to merge into him, completely burying herself in his embrace.
The man supported Sierra Summers with one hand on her hip, the other on her waist. Celeste Yates, with keen eyesight, saw him gently pat her.
Along with this scene, the soft and indistinct voice of Sierra Summers floated over with the evening breeze, sounding utterly sweet: "Caleb Sterling~~ I missed you so much~"
