Sierra Summers really wished she could pass out, but she was painfully awake.
She closed her eyes, "I'm sorry, Auntie, I misunderstood you both, I'm sorry."
Sierra's voice trembled, and she tried to apologize loudly, but her voice was hoarse, and no matter how loud she spoke, it didn't help much. She listened to the sound of her scratchy voice and closed her mouth, feeling frustrated and suffocated.
Caleb Sterling became more anxious; since Sierra realized the misunderstanding, why wasn't she looking at him or talking to him?
"Cecilia, are you still mad at me?"
Sierra glanced at him, feeling utterly hopeless.
With everything piled up, there was so much to say that Sierra absolutely didn't know where to start at that moment.
Looking at Caleb, who was anxiously bowing his head to watch her, Sierra couldn't help but blush and turn red with embarrassment rather than shyness.
She said dejectedly, "Caleb Sterling, I'm sorry, it was my misunderstanding."
