Sierra Summers felt a surge of emotion; she initially thought she could remain calm and composed, questioning Caleb Sterling in a flat tone about what was going on, but as soon as she spoke, she completely broke down.
"Get out of my sight!!!"
Sierra screamed and struggled, although her scream sounded more like the whimper of a small animal, mixed with an overwhelming sense of devastation and heartbreak.
Caleb's heart ached painfully. He knew perfectly well that Sierra had misunderstood something. When he saw Sierra standing outside, he rushed out without caring about anything, with only one thought in mind—to hold her and stop Sierra from leaving.
Seeing Sierra soaked and desolate in the rain, Caleb frowned, his face dark and severe.
Who to blame?!
Blame Sierra for not trusting him?
No.
Caleb understood that Sierra wasn't like that.
