It turns out Sierra Summers asked the right question.
Caleb Sterling chuckled, "Yeah."
In his mind, he kept replaying Sierra Summers' words, "I really love you," she always managed to casually and inadvertently say things that moved him deeply.
Sierra Summers excitedly sat up, swinging her legs back and forth on Caleb Sterling's legs, "What kind of answer is 'yeah'? Our teacher told us since we were young, we can't skip the process when solving problems!!"
"No skipping," Caleb Sterling smirked, "I've read some books and learned some things I hadn't encountered before."
He opened the nail polish bottle cap. Sierra Summers could tell immediately that this man had obviously learned the technique; although it looked awkward, as if he were painting nails for the first time, the steps and some small details were those of a pro!!
Sierra Summers stayed silent, propping herself up on the bed, sitting up straight to watch Caleb Sterling's actions.
