Sierra Summers took the bouquet, stood up, and perhaps it was an illusion, but she found it incredibly beautiful.
She didn't notice that Caleb Sterling, upon hearing her answer, relaxed and showed a rather silly smile.
It vanished in an instant.
His expression was filled with satisfaction and joy as he stood up with Sierra Summers.
Before Sierra could fully admire the bouquet, Caleb Sterling took the ring off the rose in the center.
Caleb held the ring in one hand and extended the other ceremoniously towards Sierra Summers, "Sweetheart."
Though Sierra's heart fluttered at his endearment, she still boldly placed her hand in his palm and looked down, watching Caleb Sterling put the ring on her finger.
"It's beautiful."
Caleb's eyes lingered deeply on the ring that now had an owner. He bent down and kissed the ring with utmost reverence, then kissed her fingertips.
After it all.
Sierra Summers' hand was tightly held by his.
"How long did it take you... to do this..."
