Caleb Sterling's fingers rested on Sierra Summers' ankle, considerately avoiding the wound. He gently pressed the pad of his finger against the flushed skin, rubbing it slightly.
Sierra adjusted to a comfortable position for her legs, then silently watched Caleb treating her wound.
She was quite idle, and when idle, her mouth felt a bit bored, sweet words effortlessly slipped out as she teased Caleb, "Hubby's hands are so big, they seem even larger than my feet, yet you're so careful when handling my wound, praise praise~~"
Sierra blinked her eyes, deliberately softened her voice, speaking stickily.
Caleb heard her, just briefly looked up at Sierra, showing no expression, then continued to focus intently on her wound.
In truth, it wasn't much of a big deal, and Caleb handled it very quickly.
