Ninth Grade Refining Force, Eighth Grade Bone Forging, and Seventh-Grade Yijin are the first hurdles of the Martial Dao, collectively known as the Body Tempering Realm. Above the Seventh Grade is another realm, and the Sixth Grade is called the Five Extremes Realm.
The Five Extremes within the Five Extremes Realm also subtly align with Taoism's 'Five Qi Chaoyuan' principle, and refer to the forging of the Five Viscera into Extreme Palaces, meaning the Five Viscera of the human body are treasures, hence the name Five Extremes.
The Five Extremes Realm requires cultivation techniques that correspond to the Power of the Five Elements, using power to first refine the five viscera, and then build the Five Elements bridge to connect the visceras, forming an internal cycle among the Five Viscera.
This achieves internal refinement of organs, Postnatal Blood Exchange, and connection with the power of nature.
