"Step, step!"
The dull sound of leather boots crushing snow echoed repeatedly, and the moment the footsteps stopped, the heart of the little beggar curled up behind the door suddenly halted and caught in his throat.
The little beggar knew that those people were just outside the door.
As if to confirm the little beggar's thoughts, after a brief dead silence.
"Bang!"
The wooden door, already old and broken, was suddenly kicked open, slamming hard against the doorframe with an ear-piercing 'creak' before falling heavily to the ground.
"Little brat, run, why aren't you running now, weren't you good at running..."
The trembling little beggar wanted to flee but despairingly found his legs weak, helplessly watching as the fierce, burly man with a face full of menace reached out to grab him.
It was at this moment that a calm voice suddenly sounded in the courtyard.
