Chapter 186 - Chapter 186: I Really Don't Want to See Her

As it turned out, the President of the Occult Research Club and the "big sister" of Kuoh Academy was indeed not only well-endowed but also generous.

Even after Leon reminded her to change her clothes, she simply raised an eyebrow, gave him a half-smile, and without bothering to shield herself, she magnanimously tore away her tattered clothing right in front of him. Only then did she use her magic to construct a brand-new Kuoh Academy uniform, granting Leon a substantial bit of "fan service."

While Leon stood there dumbfounded, Rias acted as if nothing had happened—or rather, as if such a minor detail wasn't worth her concern—and turned toward Sona Sitri.

"It's your turn next."

With that, Rias stepped back.

Although Sona had already witnessed Leon's overwhelming power, she didn't show the slightest hint of hesitation. On the contrary, she stepped into Rias's position with high spirits and engaged Leon in battle.

Her magical power was far from being as immense as Rias's, but her technique was exceptionally refined. As the water-blue magical aura rose from her body, massive amounts of water immediately gathered from all directions, serving as her weapon.

Sona specialized in the manipulation of water magic. However, even without using her magic to materialize water, she could requisition all the water in the surrounding environment. This not only saved the mana required to create water but also allowed her to control a volume far exceeding what her own power could produce, effectively exerting a thousand pounds of force with four ounces of effort.

Before the fight, Sona had thoroughly observed the terrain to identify every water source. Thus, the moment she released her magic, streams of water flew in from every direction to swirl around her.

Some water came from underground, some from distant rivers. Under Sona's control, they shifted form, ultimately manifesting as eagles in the sky, serpents on the ground, fierce lions, packs of wild wolves, and even massive dragons, launching a grand offensive against Leon.

This was the water technique Sona took great pride in.

Of course, her pride stemmed not just from this technique, but also from her sharp, analytical mind. She treated Leon as a subject to validate her various tactical battle theories, frequently making unexpected moves during the combat.

For instance, she would suddenly charge toward Leon, blending herself into the numerous water beasts. Only when she reached Leon and was blocked would others realize with surprise that it wasn't Sona herself, but a clone made of water.

In another instance, she would reclaim the water scattered by Leon and condense it into crystal-clear water mirrors. Her image was everywhere within the mirrors, making it impossible to distinguish the real body from the fake or even determine the correct direction.

To deceive Leon's magical perception, Sona would even place clothes carrying her own magical signature onto the water clones or the reflections within the mirrors. Meanwhile, she would swim quietly like a mermaid through the countless streams of water surrounding Leon.

In this regard, she was just as generous as Rias, completely unconcerned about her lack of attire, giving Leon quite an eyeful.

Unfortunately, while Sona was generous, she was not particularly "well-endowed."

Still, Leon was very satisfied. Looking at it from any angle, he wasn't losing out.

Consequently, to honor Sona's efforts, Leon stopped holding back. He directly stripped her of her control over the water, turning all the water she had painstakingly gathered into his own weapons.

"Don't forget, among the natural attributes governed by 'Zenith Tempest,' the water attribute is included," Leon said with a light laugh as he faced Sona's stunned expression.

And just like that, Sona also suffered an easy defeat at Leon's hands.

Afterward, the two reorganized and teamed up to challenge Leon, but they still failed to overcome him. Let alone winning, Rias and Sona couldn't even force Leon to use his Sacred Gear. Leon suppressed them entirely using his own magical power and status as a ten-winged devil, leaving the two "heavenly maidens" breathless.

Fortunately, both were mentally prepared. Even Rias, with her strong pride and competitive nature, set aside her ego. To become stronger, she tirelessly challenged Leon again and again, despite the constant suppression.

Leon was naturally happy to oblige—and definitely not because these two women occasionally provided him with "benefits."

This wasn't just true for the three "Kings." Elsewhere in this pocket dimension, the others were also engaged in repetitive sparring and dueling. Some won consistently, some lost, and some had a mix of both, but everyone had long since forgotten about winning or losing.

They remembered their purpose for coming here: not to determine who was better than their peers, but to train and become stronger. To prepare for the crises that might arrive in the future, everyone was working with everything they had, refusing to fall behind.

Under these circumstances, the day passed quickly. Every day after school, everyone would gather here to find opponents, form teams, and spar. On weekends, they would stay here the entire day, training so intensely they forgot to eat and sleep, wasting not a single moment or opportunity for growth.

To give them more practical combat experience, Leon even threw Cerberus into the mix as a training partner. The King of the Hellhounds, brought to the human world by Kokabiel, had already been thoroughly tamed by Leon. On the night Kokabiel was defeated, Leon had returned to find it and established a formal contract, making it his familiar.

He had originally intended to leave the dog to guard the manor, but making it a sparring partner for everyone in the pocket dimension proved to be an excellent choice.

As the king of its species, Cerberus possessed power comparable to an Ultimate-class Devil. This level of strength was outstanding even among the members of the Eligos, Gremory, and Sitri peerages. Only Ram had the ability to defeat it; the others stood no chance.

Rias and Sona, being only High-class Devils, were naturally no match for Cerberus. Although Yukino Yukinoshita could hold her own using "Eternal Ice Queen," she couldn't defeat it either. Yuuto Kiba, having mastered his Balance Breaker, could threaten Cerberus with his Holy-Demonic Swords, but since Cerberus was vastly more powerful, it could handle him as long as it avoided being hit by the blades.

Such a powerful training partner could not be allowed to go to waste.

As for Leon, he occasionally sparred with Rias or Sona, but he spent most of his time with Rem. Rem's "Onification" was still unstable and lasted too short a time, making it ineffective in real combat. Leon had to keep working with her as before, stopping her when she lost control and helping her strive to master the transformation.

In short, Leon's current mission was to help the three peerages improve their strength; this was likely why Sirzechs had arranged things this way.

Unfortunately, Rias's other "Bishop" was still too afraid to step out of their residence and come here. Otherwise, Leon wouldn't have minded helping them control their power, as Sirzechs had suggested. After all, training one person or a group was the same to him; one more didn't matter.

As time slipped by, news regarding the summit finally came from Sirzechs. Through a mutual agreement between the three factions, the meeting was set for one week later.

By this time, over a month had passed since the Kokabiel incident. One week later would mark exactly two months since the event. At that time, representatives from the Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels would come to the human world to attend this high-level summit.

The attendee list had also been confirmed.

Representing the Devils were the current Demon Kings, Sirzechs Lucifer and Serafall Leviathan. Sirzechs was the supreme leader of the Devils, and Serafall was in charge of foreign affairs, so their presence was entirely logical.

Representing the Angels was the leader of the Angels, Michael—one of the four Great Seraphs, the current head of the Heavens, and once the right hand of the God of the Bible.

Representing the Fallen Angels was, unsurprisingly, Azazel. It would have been strange if the Governor General of the Fallen Angels did not attend.

The above were merely the representatives of the three powers, not including Leon, Rias, Sona, and their companions. During the summit, they would be summoned as participants in the Kokabiel incident, so they would also attend.

The location for the meeting was, as expected, Kuoh Academy. It was the epicenter of the Kokabiel incident, so choosing it as the venue was perfectly reasonable.

"What about Kokabiel?"

On the rooftop of a building in the pocket dimension, Leon sat and asked Sona, who had brought him the news. "What happened to the culprit behind the incident?"

On the day they returned to Kuoh Academy with Sirzechs, Leon and the others had handed the sealed Kokabiel over to him for the Demon King to handle. Sirzechs had taken Kokabiel back to the Underworld, and there had been no news since.

In the original story, he was taken away by Vali, the White Dragon Emperor, and punished by Azazel. Now that he had fallen into the hands of the Devils, Leon was curious about his fate.

"Currently, the disposal of that Fallen Angel executive hasn't been fully finalized," Sona said, adjusting her glasses. "Some among the upper echelons advocate for his immediate execution as an example to others. Others suggest using him as a bargaining chip with the Fallen Angels to secure major benefits. However, the reaction from the Fallen Angels has been quite peculiar; they seem completely indifferent to Kokabiel's fate. They haven't requested his extradition from the beginning, which has left the Devil leadership unsure of how to proceed."

"Lord Sirzechs has him imprisoned. His powers are sealed, and he is now just a prisoner in a dungeon awaiting final judgment."

"I heard he's been shouting the whole time, demanding a duel with the current Demon Kings. He can't accept being a mere prisoner of the Devils and would rather die in battle against a strong opponent."

That certainly sounded like something that war-hungry maniac would say. If it were the previous Demon Kings, they might have actually been provoked, but the current four Demon Kings were all "unconventional." None of them were warmongers, so they weren't likely to accept Kokabiel's challenge.

As Leon was thinking this, Sona suddenly spoke with a bit of awkwardness.

"The other three Demon Kings rejected Kokabiel's challenge, but my sister—the current Demon King Leviathan—accepted."

Leon fell silent.

Alright, scratch that. Occasionally, a violent element still appeared among the four current Demon Kings.

"...She did it to vent her anger on your behalf, didn't she?"

Though phrased as a question, Leon's tone was one of absolute certainty. He could only imagine that as the reason; otherwise, that sister-complex Demon King would never have accepted such a crude provocation.

Sona didn't reply, her silence speaking volumes.

"Is Kokabiel still okay?" Leon asked. He only had that one question left.

Anyone could guess that Kokabiel stood no chance against Serafall. He was merely a ten-winged Fallen Angel; even at his peak, he was at most at the Demon King level. Compared to Serafall, who was already at the Super Devil level, the gap was astronomical.

Although the difference between Super Devil and Demon King was only one tier, the former's power was utterly peerless to the latter. A Super Devil held an overwhelming advantage; if two such beings fought, the intensity would be so great that even those at the Demon King level couldn't intervene.

Therefore, there was only one outcome for Kokabiel facing Serafall: he would be completely toyed with.

"Ten seconds," Sona said.

"He lasted ten seconds against your sister?" Leon rubbed his chin and said sincerely, "That's actually quite impressive."

"..."

"No." Sona closed her eyes. "I mean, within ten seconds, he was frozen into an ice sculpture ten times by my sister."

Leon was suddenly at a loss for words.

The two looked at each other for a moment before silently skipping the topic. One could only say that the current Demon Kings—even those who weren't "cheaters" like Sirzechs and Ajuka—were still ridiculously overpowered.

Kokabiel had faced and fought Demon Kings in the past. But he had faced the old Demon Kings, not the current ones. The old Demon Kings were a thing of the past, and their strength was likely far inferior to the current ones. Serafall had proven this point, telling Kokabiel through her actions that times had changed.

"Will your sister be attending the summit?" Leon said with a sigh. "I really don't want to see her."

Sona nodded in deep agreement.

However, people often summon what they fear by speaking of it. Sometimes, the more one fears something, the more likely it is to happen.
