Chapter 205 - Chapter 205: You’re the One Feeling Wronged?

"Boom!"

The electrical breath surged like a torrent of plasma, tearing through the atmosphere and letting out a roar so intense it seemed to affect the very gap between dimensions, causing further distortions in space.

The elegant giant dragon beat its wings, hovering in mid-air as it exhaled a cataclysmic electrical breath toward Leon. The sheer intensity made Leon's hair stand on end; even before the breath touched him, his body began to feel a creeping numbness.

Shua!

Leon unfurled his ten devil wings, his form ascending faster than a bolt of lightning, narrowly evading the electrical torrent that shook the very air and earth.

However, the dragon had already closed the distance. Its tail lashed out like a blur, accompanied by a terrifying sonic boom, striking heavily toward him.

Peng!

With a dull thud, Leon's body was blown apart.

Like shattering rock, Leon's form disintegrated into a cloud of yellow sand that scattered in all directions.

But the sand quickly converged again, reforming into Leon's original appearance. This allowed him to brush past the lunging dragon and soar toward another direction.

The dragon immediately flapped its wings to halt its charge and then, surprisingly, lunged at Leon again without hesitation. It unleashed another electrical breath, blanketing the sky as it surged toward him.

"Wait—what kind of grudge do we even have?"

Leon sped through the air, transformed into a streak of flowing light. His speed was easily on par with, if not faster than, the electrical breath. However, the dragon simply tilted its head slightly, and the breath swept along his path, chasing him relentlessly. Leon was so exasperated he could only laugh.

The creature had attacked him out of nowhere, which was one thing, but this stubborn persistence made it feel as though he had stolen its eggs.

"Since you want to fight, I'll play along to the end."

It was just a Dragon King. In the past, he might have needed to take a detour, but now, he wasn't necessarily unable to hold his own.

Having made up his mind, Leon stopped running. He made a sudden turn and charged straight toward the dragon.

The dragon naturally didn't miss this golden opportunity, meeting him head-on with a blast of electrical breath that filled Leon's entire field of vision.

Leon stared fixedly at the incoming attack. At the moment before impact, he activated "Hope of Nature," transforming into a bolt of lightning and diving straight into the electrical torrent.

Boom!

The electrical breath vibrated the atmosphere as it shot past the floating landmass, piercing the horizon and heading toward the infinite reaches of the dimensional gap.

The devastating breath ceased its spray after a few seconds.

This was because Leon, having transformed back from lightning, had emerged from within the electrical breath. He appeared right before the dragon's face—a face that looked surprisingly delicate—and drove a fist into it.

Peng!!!

In the next instant, a wave of fire erupted across the dragon's face.

Unbeknownst to the dragon, Leon's fist had ignited with flames. As his fist connected with the dragon's head, the fire exploded outward, releasing a staggering amount of impact.

The giant dragon was sent flying by this sudden punch, crashing into the massive castle and collapsing one of its corners.

The punch seemed to have dazed it; the dragon lay among the debris for a long while without moving, its head swaying as if it were suffering from a severe bout of vertigo.

"Satisfying!"

Leon felt a surge of mental clarity, the frustration of being targeted by the dragon's breath vanishing instantly.

To his surprise, once the dragon regained its senses, it seemed to grow incensed. It swept away the rubble covering its body and unleashed another electrical breath at Leon in the sky.

"Again?"

Seeing the dragon's persistent attitude, Leon raised an eyebrow. He transformed into lightning once more, charging into the head-on electrical torrent. He surged through the flow and arrived directly in front of the dragon.

Just as he intended to repeat his previous trick and give this stubborn dragon another punch, the creature had learned its lesson. The moment Leon reverted from lightning to human form, the dragon ceased its breath and opened its maw wide, lunging to swallow Leon whole.

Leon certainly wasn't going to let himself be eaten. With a flap of his ten wings, his figure flickered, evading the sudden snap of those jaws.

Seeing this, the dragon raised a massive claw and swiped at Leon, creating a howling gale, yet Leon dodged that as well.

Shua! Shua! Shua!

Leon's form flickered back and forth, playing a game of hide-and-seek at point-blank range, evading the dragon's sharp claws time and time again.

Peng!

Seeing that it couldn't hit Leon, the dragon's tail moved again. It became a blur, breaking the sound barrier as it struck Leon, once again shattering his body.

This time, Leon's body exploded into a flurry of ice shards.

However, these shards fell like snowflakes onto the dragon, sticking to its scales and gradually expanding and freezing, slowly encasing the dragon in ice.

Boom!

The dragon shuddered, as if sensing danger. It directly unleashed its aura, letting its gradient-colored dragon energy explode completely, shattering the ice on its body.

Leon's form condensed from a swirl of ice and snow, and he delivered another punch straight into the dragon's face.

Peng!!!

This time, what erupted on the dragon's head wasn't an explosion of flame, but a violent storm.

Leon's fist was wrapped in a raging gale, making the strike hit like a mortar shell. Once again, it sent the dragon flying, launching it high into the air.

The dragon felt a sharp pain in its face as its body was knocked back uncontrollably, nearly flying off the floating landmass suspended in the dimensional gap.

With great effort, the dragon beat its wings, struggling to stabilize itself high in the sky. However, the burning sensation on its face left it in a foul mood. As it stared at Leon, a look of distinct "wronged" emotion appeared in its eyes.

"What are you looking all 'wronged' for?"

Leon was genuinely stunned by that piteous gaze.

You were the one who started it, right?

You were the one being stubborn, right?

So what are you feeling wronged about?

And—does that kind of look even belong on your face?

Please, you're a dragon.

To be honest, this was the first time Leon had ever seen a dragon look "wronged," and it completely threw him off.

Fortunately, the moment was fleeting. The dragon soon dove down again, charging at Leon and launching another assault.

Rumble—

Electrical breath descended from the sky, striking the earth and crushing the land with terrifying force, kicking up thick clouds of dust and debris.

Leon didn't transform into lightning to charge into the breath this time. Instead, he used the extreme speed of his ten wings to evade the devastating attack, engaging the dragon in a high-speed chase.

The dragon pursued Leon, constantly firing its breath, while Leon flew ahead, performing one high-difficulty acrobatic maneuver after another to dodge the attacks from behind, leaving the dragon to eat his dust.

Of course, as the battle progressed, Leon began to counterattack.

Rumble—

This time, the noise didn't come from the breath crushing the earth, but from thunder and lightning manifesting in the sky.

Leon took control of the weather above the landmass, summoning dark clouds and calling forth lightning. One bolt after another descended from the heavens, striking the dragon and booming against its scales.

In an instant, dozens of lightning bolts had struck the dragon in succession, enveloping its entire body in a cage of electricity.

Against such an assault, anyone else—even a thick-skinned Dragon King—would have been charred black, falling to the ground in a cloud of smoke, unable to rise again.

To Leon's surprise, the dragon was completely unharmed.

Its fur remained sleek, its form elegant, and it even squinted its eyes, wearing an expression of pure enjoyment, as if it were... happy?

Upon closer inspection, the lightning striking the dragon was actually being entirely absorbed, leaving only a layer of electrical light flickering on its skin.

"Absorbing lightning?"

Leon was quite surprised.

"It has this ability too?"

What kind of dragon was this? A Blue Thunder Dragon?

But could a Blue Thunder Dragon absorb lightning?

Leon wasn't entirely sure.

The Blue Thunder Dragon was a high-ranking species among dragons, lightning-attributed, capable of using blue lightning and electrical strikes. Furthermore, their attacks would only harm those identified as enemies; they wouldn't harm allies, especially those with pure hearts. Such people were particularly liked by Blue Thunder Dragons, causing the creatures to instinctively lower their guard.

"But Blue Thunder Dragons don't look like this. Is it a subspecies or a mutant?"

Leon was puzzled, but he didn't dwell on it for too long.

This dragon clearly possessed the power of a Dragon King, yet it wasn't among the current Five Great Dragon Kings. This could only mean one of two things.

Either this dragon had only recently ascended to the level of a Dragon King, so no one knew of its existence.

Or, this dragon's history was older than the Five Great Dragon Kings—so old that people had forgotten it.

Between the two possibilities, Leon leaned toward the latter.

This place looked like it had become dilapidated over an immense period of time. Since this dragon was here, it was highly likely it had been exiled to the dimensional gap along with this land.

If that was the case, the dragon had likely existed for as long as this land had been drifting in the gap.

Perhaps it had ascended to the rank of Dragon King during these long eons and had stayed here, unseen by anyone, which was why it wasn't listed among the Five Great Dragon Kings.

The dragon, unaware of Leon's musings, seemed unsatisfied even after absorbing all the lightning from the sky. it looked up at the thunderclouds as if it wanted to fly straight in and feast.

Seeing this, Leon immediately changed the weather, dispersing the thunder and lightning. Instead, he summoned a freezing wind and swirling ice shards, causing the temperature of the entire area to plummet.

Large snowflakes began to fall, which quickly evolved into a blizzard. The dragon was caught off guard and swallowed by the storm, its scales beginning to frost over.

Boom!

The dragon immediately repeated its previous move, releasing its vast dragon aura to shatter the frost. Then, it roared at Leon.

The roar seemed to say, "Why did you stop the lightning?"

"Wow. First you act 'wronged,' and now you're making demands?"

Leon had never seen such a thick-skinned person—no, dragon.

"Want to eat lightning? Have a blast of fire first!"

Leon raised both hands, and his pure white aura surged. A crimson-red flame ignited above his head and rapidly expanded.

In an instant, a massive vortex of fire appeared above him, which he then began to compress under his control.

Before long, the flame vortex, which had been dozens of meters in diameter, was compressed into a palm-sized lotus of fire.

The lotus was so red it was almost purple, glowing with such heat it looked like a nuclear bomb on the verge of detonation, radiating an incredibly terrifying wave of destruction.

"The last time I fought Kokabiel, I replicated a Chibaku Tensei. This time, I'll replicate an Angry Buddha Lotus Flame!"

Leon held the fire lotus in one hand, the light of the flames casting a frightening arc on his lips.

"Go!"

With that, Leon hurled the fire lotus. It became a streak of crimson light, slicing through space and the sky as it zoomed toward the dragon.

The dragon seemed to sense the danger of this move. Without hesitation, it unleashed an electrical breath to intercept the lotus.

Unfortunately, the dragon had chosen the wrong way to respond.

When the devastating electrical breath touched the fire lotus, it didn't swallow it. Instead, like butter touching the sun, the breath was effortlessly split apart by the streak of crimson light.

The fire lotus carved through the electrical breath, its momentum undiminished, until it finally struck the dragon's body under its wide-eyed, shrinking pupils.

The world went silent for several seconds.

Then—

"BOOM!!!!"

Above the land floating in the dimensional gap, a world-shaking explosion erupted.

The light of the fire dominated the entire world in that instant.

Intense heat became the only theme of the area.

The storm of fire and impact from the terrifying explosion leveled mountain peaks and scattered the plains. Even the castle seemed to disintegrate bit by bit within the shockwave.

A scorching storm blew through the dimensional gap, even pushing the floating landmass downward.

The scene looked as if a sun had exploded right there; it was more terrifying than an apocalypse.

If this explosion hadn't occurred within the dimensional gap, it would have caused a massive catastrophe in any world, claiming countless lives.

Even Leon, to avoid being injured by the aftershocks, had entered his "Hope of Nature" state the moment the lotus exploded, transforming into fire and merging with the blast.

The explosion raged for a long time, refusing to dissipate—
