Next, the logic of the story. > Some people say Wuthering Waves is just an overpowered 'Long Aotian' power fantasy, that there are no real regrets or 'unresolved grievances' in it. I think the reality is exactly the opposite.
From the moment Rover opens their eyes, I feel like everything is tied to regret. From the initial blue-hat letter-writing girl all the way to Phrolova, every character counts. Even with Shorekeeper, the devs have never explicitly let the protagonist confess or make a promise to anyone.
Don't come at me with grand logic about how the protagonist needs to save the world. I am a very 'vulgar' and ordinary person: I play the game, control the protagonist, meet these characters, and form bonds. If I'm not thinking about bringing them all into the fold, am I supposed to just stand back and chat with Abby about not disturbing their lives?
So, in my eyes, WuWa is full of regrets and unresolved feelings. My goal is to use the protagonist's hands to make up for these regrets, one by one. A family should be happily together, right?
