The next day, the investigation results were presented before Kei.
According to the investigation, it is highly likely that the village was attacked by a pack of beasts, as a lot of animal fur and broken claws and sharp teeth were found at the scene.
Upon confirming this, Brad immediately centered his search on the village, spreading outwards to look for traces of the beast pack.
Very soon, he found a trail of messy footprints and then discovered some bloodstains.
Following these traces, he eventually found a cave deep within the forest.
However, while investigating the interior of the cave, they were attacked by monsters and had to temporarily retreat.
After leaving some personnel to block off the cave, Brad hurried back to report the investigation results.
